I remember playing Rogue Legacy way back when it first came out, it still holds up well even today so if you like RL2 you would probably like RL1 if you ever wanna go give it a try

I playied rogue legacy 1 but never really finished it. been having a blast with 2 now, and can guarantee you you can pretty much get every piece of the story from 2 alone, as far as I know. 1 is also a bit harder and less polished but holds out pretty dang well IMO

Man this game looks like a perfect game for train/bus rides on a steam deck or switch, if its on a switch. Like let me do a run until my stop etc. and it even looks like a good game, will 100% check it out.

rogue legacy 1/2 is so addicting. got it on release and only game I play now. Probably be that way for at least a month for me. 1-3 hours every night so far.
Be wary, super grindy, but has a lot to offer if you're willing to put your time into it.

Lamech beat me like 4 times. But then I got some OP Chef, and beat him and the 2nd boss on the first try in that same run. Loving this game
I adored Rogue Legacy 1, didn't even know a second was being made. Only really have a playstation though, so I'm missing this for a time. But this was a ton of fun to watch, I really hope there's more to come.
