It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which (etiquette) Islam is better? He said: “(That is) you feed and greet those whom you know and those whom you do not know.”

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said, Therefore, the month of Ramadan (mercy and forgiveness) should come and its forgiveness should not be decided before it has passed. And let him be humiliated and disgraced by the man whose parents or both of them reach old age before him and he (by serving them) does not get the right of Paradise. (Jami ‘al-Tirmidhi)

Description
The common denominator of the three types of men who are cursed with humiliation and disgrace in this hadith is that Allah Almighty provided them with the best opportunities to receive His special bounty and mercy and forgiveness. He did not want to get mercy and forgiveness and chose to be deprived of it. Of course, he deserves such misfortune and the following hadith will show that Jibril Amin has also uttered a very strong curse, Allah’s refuge!
