Hades is a megacollab between a lot of really good creators, which makes for a nice variety in styles and ideas, while combining them together to create something unique, exciting and interesting. To see a clash between different eras of creation within this game is what makes this collab stand out.

While there are sections where this difference and shift in design is clearer, they still managed to find a way connect them and make this into a complete and satisfying experience. I think the level ties up nicely despite the fact that the first half has an older atmosphere and the second is where you start to see the newer designs and effects, although overall it’s high quality and it does serve as a buildup, along with the music.
