Hades 2 released in early access and right off the bat, it has more content unfinished than Hades 1 had AT FULL RELEASE. That’s truly incredible, but is more always better? Does the sequel truly hold up to the awesome experience the first game brought to the table? Find out for yourself here, we sit back and enjoy this game all while comparing and contrasting to its predecessor, but one thing’s for sure… this game is one HECK of a TIME!

  1. I really would like to enjoy this kind of games, gameplay of the first was stellar but the grind to find the materials to make all the upgrades and the conditions to find the true ending drove me away.

I would still enjoy seeing Sir Tulok playing this game, mostly because the ost is GLORIOUS!

  2. Commenting to boost the algorithm, this game is superb and my favourite of the Olympian Gods in this game is a tie between the new triple H threat of Hera, Hephaestus and Hestia

  3. Tulok, I’ve done like 90 runs in the week or so since it came out, and… I don’t have words. Hades 2, not even finished and it’s already one of my top 3 games ever played. So fun. So great. So glad to see you playing too.

  4. also, I'm assuming that real phil hasn't gotten much farther than stream phil but there is a system that unlocks later in the game where you can recruit familiars, and one of them will sometimes tank the sheep blast for you. This is the same familiar that levels vigour and they're my favourite

  5. I really appreciate Phil's positive nihilism at about 50 minutes in. If you're gonna believe nothing matters, at least choose to use that as an excuse to have fun or do good things

  6. I think I beat Time after over 50 runs, but I also realized I never really focused up and got my try hard hat on. I just coasted for all that time vibing with the enemies and humming "I want to Claw Out Your Eyes (and Drown You to Death). Eventually, I wanted it, and actually chose optimal charms and boons. You know a game is fun when I don't even have to be winning to really enjoy it
