Hades is honestly my favorite Roguelike game and one of my favorite games of all time and I’m super psyched for the sequel. The main character's name is Melinoe. Much like Zagreus she's a very obscure goddess who is connected to witchcraft. Her role is a bit vague but in general she's considered the goddess of ghosts/spirits
The person you saw locked in chains wasn't Chronos, that was Hades. You can tell based on the shape of his beard and the orange laurels on his head that both Zagreus and Melinoe also wear
It seems like in this game you are fighting your way INTO the Underworld in order to save your father from Chronos
the chained guy is hades not cronos
I've been internally screaming about this game for several days now. haha
