  1. I honestly just more romance stuff lol. Like maybe if you get to a certain heart on the meter they give you a buff or maybe some gift of gold or something, I think that would be cool way to make people go for certain characters or make people actually talk to other gods or minor gods that super giant put effort into making.

  2. I kind of agree with you on having more Greek gods in this one. I hope they show all 12 Olympians in Hades two. And I think they should release it on all platforms day one when it’s released

  3. I think if you got rid of the god keepsakes, you’re probably going to end up getting mad about bad luck, like with approval process and tight deadline. You don’t have to use them, but they’re there as an option to keep from getting totally screwed, which I think is net good for the player experience.

  4. It's the first time in a long time that I got addicted to a game. I picked up Hades a week ago and couldn't get enough of it even in my sleep. I'm excited for hades 2!!! Please share me some builds to try.

  5. I would love to see more impact from boons and poms. More interesting dual boons for example. I also want more excellent music, I think it's a given, seeing how supergiant always delivers on that front, but I really want to be wowed again. Especially like with transistor and bastion! Lastly, and maybe even more wishful thinking than everything else: More than just one character. This could very well backfire, but it would be a welcome change

  6. Hope the boons are all actually meaningfull and ease variety of builds.
Hope to not have lame legendary and duo boons basically unplayable but for one specific build.
Hope that if there are aspects they actually change the weapon entirely (how secret aspects did in hades) and not reskin it.
Hope the devs arenot afraid to make boons more powerful, a god gives you his blessing and the last thing you expect is for that blessing to be 5% extra damage to x. Jeez its that difficult to make all boons matter?

Edit: Also, meaninfull hammers, I dont want 13 hammers for one weapon but only 2 are actually cool and playable

  7. The Gods need bigger egos that are meta changing. Whichever god you pick the most over multiple runs gives you a special bonus related to that god in your runs. And on the flip side whichever god you choose the least boosts the enemies or debuffs the player. Player choices matter more since your bonuses or debuffs can depend on which god you please and which god you ignore/anger.

  8. i would like to see more weapon variety. I like Hades, but i dont think it has a ton of replayability for me. I have about 150 hours which is a lot, but comparing with other roguelikes that i reached over 1000 hours and 700, is not that much. And my biggest issue with hades was although we had 6 weapons with 4 aspects, i only really played with 3, maybe 5. So i would like to see a more diverse weapon arsenal

  9. I don't think there will be weapons at all. In the trailer it looks more like she casts a lot of spells instead swinging weapons like Zag.

  10. As someone once said, if your rougelike does not crash because of certain item combinations, you made a bad game. An exaggeration, but the idea is simple – the variety of builds and item synergies must be high.

  11. I just recently bought the game, but i wish there were some more long term progression systems like the mirror. After like 30 hours i maxed out the mirror pretty much and Darkness (currency) is now useless. Would have been nice to trade it for something else or have more to spent it on.

  12. The music and the story were some of the best things about Hades 1. Supergiant needs to hit high on these in Hades 2 to repeat the emotional response gamers got out of the first one.

  13. One thing that annoys me in Hades is getting my damage negated by a boss’s invulnerability shield from entering a new phase. Seeing my Aphrodite call only do 600 damage because I didn’t wait for the next phase to use it is dumb. I think if an attack would cross the HP threshold to enter the next phase, the full damage of that singular attack should be applied and then the shield can come up. This would mean you could potentially make a build strong enough that you can completely skip a phase on a low HP boss, but I think that’s fine. If a player can manage to build something that strong they should be rewarded because phase skipping is just fun.

  14. I really enjoy the endless mode in Wizard of Legend. I haven't noticed if you've tried it out, but it's probably my favourite rogue like just ahead of Hades.

  15. there is only 1 thing that i would like some improvements, when a weapon reaches 20 heats (1/3 of max difficulty), it no longer rewards you anything except darkness and gems, and i feel less motivated to challenge higher heats due to the lack of rewards. If a further augment system, e.g. the weapon opens a slot where special parts that provides a weaker version of the hammer can be imbeded ( rail reload time -50%, guanyu starts with chargeable special, etc), and an end game currency can be earned from heat 21 or above for purchasing and upgrading these parts, it will great.

  16. I do agree that god keepsakes having a more interesting function would be great, but also some degree of consistency additions isn't terrible. It seems like some sort of shop or the like equivalent to do those things would be an interesting way to handle it.

  17. Easily one of my favorite games of all time. It says something when an indie game can match or even top AAA games released the same year. I own it on multiple platforms and will keep going back to it for years to come. I hope I can say the same about the sequel.

  18. At this point im buying anything that comes out of that studio, i played both the other games and i loved transistor before hades was out, so with 3/3 very good games, even if hades 2 is not as good, it will still be a very good game

  19. I played 300 hours in hades 1, but the longer the wait the less I’m interested in the game. They have a high bar of hades 1, and also needing to make it different. It’s definitely a challenge for them. Maybe they could just let you pick your starting load out like Zeus attack.

  20. I think maybe theme heats would be cool. Like maybe there are certain themes with a new type of heat that you don't normally see or maybe have a combo of things that people don't normally take. I think that way you don't always take the same heat and you can sort of keep track of what type of run it was. For example, you could have approval process be a special theme outside of the mirror and b eating those types of runs might net you their own tier of rewards.

Another thing i'd like to see is mod support for consoles or at the very least maybe a mario maker mode to get new ytpes of content in the game 🙂

  21. What could be cool is a mechanic kinda like skylanders, where certain areas empower certain gods, making it more likely that a player will try to go for that god

  22. What about a custom mode like Dead Cells has? Maybe I don't want to see Dio boons at all. Or I want to do a run where I only see Zeus and Athena boons. I think I'd like to have the option, just for the fun of it.

  23. I'd love a whip or a flail type weapon.
Something big like a hammer or a staff would be cool.
If we're getting all 12 olympians, then I can't wait for Hephaestus.
Personally I hope they change the cast system slightly. I've never been a fan of it, especially retrieving the casts or having them stuck in enemies. It feels awkward and unsatisfying.
Like actually have the base cast be useful or interesting. Maybe it could be a simple defensive knockback spell by default.
Most of the time I forget that casts even exist.
