  1. It's also a real shame that Dan didn't unlock and try the other aspects of the weapons he liked before he finished the playthrough at least once (aspect of Hera with the bow which is amazing and aspect of Talos with the fists that can be great with the right build) ……. huge sigh

It's beyond disappointing. Again, great video.

  2. I see a lot of comments going "nooo don't end the series, at least do this, or that, or this other thing!" and I just think that this game is gonna be perfect fodder to fill up spare spots between series 😀 there's a lot of neat one off material seems like ;P

  3. Aspect of Chiron is your favourite aspect? You have good taste Dan. Also raw damage in the form of Aphrodite or Artemis' boons works great for Aspect of Chirons special. You don't have to go for "synergies" in the form of hangover/doom/chill stacking.

  4. I was VERY angry at Skelly after this prank. He made me waste FIVE Titan Blood I could have spent on a weapon I actually liked!

Also, don't forget to talk to your sword again! Nyx told you about it at the end of the last episode.

  5. Some tips for you Dan from someone with 239 hours in Hades.
    1. When you have a Call that makes you impervious to damage like Ares, Athena and Poseidons Calls. It's completly valid to use a single charge just to get out of a sticky situation or to reset/neutralize the situation if you feel overwhelmed. Essentially you can treat it as a get out of jail free card/brute force option to avoid taking damage. You don't always have to save up for the Greater call.
    2. From my personal experience when it comes to the Temple of Styx. The Satyr Snack Sack is most commonly found in one of the 3 non elite rooms (Elite rooms have the skull below the chamber reward icon). And once you have the snack sack, the safest thing to do for the most part is to just go fight Hades rather than try your luck at finding stuff that can help you as the encounters in this area are pretty tough. Also if you're not feeling confident about your chances of beating Hades going into the Temple of Styx, equipping the Tooth keepsake that gives you a unique death defiance is in my estimation the best option for playing it safe.

  6. Idk how other people feel but when you've reached the credits for this game i personally wouldn't mind if whenever there's a gap in the recording/upload schedule in the future and you don't know what to play, that if you want to, you fill out that slot with a Hades run. Seems like a pretty good filler game for those kinds of situations.

  7. Because you can keep it stacked for basically forever with the Chiron Aspect, I think it's more useful to think of the poison damage in terms of DPS rather than total damage. And hell, that was 100 damage per second, right? That sounds amazing.

  8. So Dionysus is very heavily tied to Zagreus as both are gods of Alcohol (Zagreus is more tired to fermentation possess that Dionyous)
another story of Zagreus birth is that he was born from Dionysus dead body, not only is this story referenced, but as Zagreus is a god of rebirth mechanically is represented by the death defiance
Also they are bothers as both Zagreus and Dionysus mother is Persephone, although to my knowledge that is not brought up

  9. Nice run.

But I must admit that when you skipped Fated Keys again it felt like someone passed on the ability to turn dirt to gold for one that puts a candy coating on diamonds.

I mean +1 random boon level is something you can buy from Charon for just 50 obol and is still inferior to the boons you usually don't even choose, while the dice are something you only can get more of by paying (at least) 2000 darkness at the mirror.
