  1. Dan Tip- there are usually two Charon shops per floor, one at the halfway point and one right before the boss. If you've already seen one shop on a floor and you don't have the money for the second one, the other room(s) will also be a freebie room with just a buff.

  2. In the rooms where you have the timer 14:56, you can actually almost see this as a gold room. Mobs drop gold per kill, so the more you kill, the more gold you get. On average I can net around 50g or so by trying to kill as many as I can before the timer runs out, which isn't bad money.

  3. When people say that "Chiron is a free room" I think they mean, and I mean, that when you enter a new room, you gain +3 health. by Choosing a Chiron room, you essentially heal for 6 health. Not a lot, but somthing.

  4. Come on, Playfriends, let's try to avoid all this backseat gaming. I understand everyone is just trying to be helpful, but being constantly told what to do can wear on a person. Let's just enjoy Dan's playing!

  5. Dan… Dan… Ever since you bought the Fated List of Minor Prophecies, there has been a BLINKING GOLD ICON on top of it asking you to examine it for flavour text and dialogue. It's on the quill over desk in your room, it is flashing and gold coloured, and it's been sitting there for at least THREE EPISODES asking you to click on it.

  6. From a UI perspective I love that the hammer selection screen has icons that say "You have not selected this choice before" to make it easier to tell which ones you need to complete the fates.

  7. Fun fact for people who don't know this game, Zagreus and Skelly are voiced by the same person, Darren Korb! Coincidentally, Darren Korb also writes all of the music for Super Giant! I love convos with Skelly and Zag for this reason 🙂

  8. These days, I like listening to Playframe while I work cuz I seem to be more productive with it playing in the background. But I've also used to help me fall asleep, not because Dan's gameplay is boring, but his voice and commentary are so calming even in action-packed games like Hades.

  9. The 'mystery room' at 20:08 actually uses the symbol for the special NPCs you meet in each region, namely Sisyphus & Bouldy, Eurydice, and Patroclus. It's almost always a good idea to pick those chambers when you come across them!

  10. Am I the only one who thinks Dusa sounds a fair bit like Carrie, only squeakier than Carrie? Also, Dan, that vicious cliffhanger, leaving us waiting 'til the next episode to check Cerberus's boon!

  11. In terms of the House Contractor the options for the lounge are the ones that will generally unlock more story not all of them but a few big ones will. Basically if it adds something new to the space I'd get it.

Also if you come across contracts that require diamonds. Those are important (except one of them which I think is just a stylistic UI change). The contracts that require diamonds will ether continue side stories or give you more options to get resources.

  12. I know this is old news, but my goodness I love the voice acting in this game! Although Megaera sometimes sounds like she's on the verge of tears which seems… unintended for her character
