If it weren't for the fact that it happens earlier, doesn't Hephaestus leave a recording in the water park when Percy and Annabeth retrieve Aries's shield and Aphrodite's shawl thing? I could be mistaken though
My guess is Hephaestus will be one of the gods that we see on Mount Olympus with Zeus and Poseidon when they return the bolt, same thing for Hermes since Luke is the thief so maybe he’ll be there too. I’m also curious about Athena (Annabeth’s mom) cause I don’t remember Rick saying anything about her so maybe that’s a casting announcement waiting to happen for this season
I am excited for the tv series too but i more excited to see who will play the role of my lord dionysus he my favorite god in mythology and in riordanverse. I am a Dionysus kid in my heart dionysus he is so fun and funny in the books and i cant wait to seen him 🍇🍇🍇🐬🐬

I’m so nervous to see who plays Poseidon! It’s a whole lot of character to master just as with Percy. Also the guy playing Hephaestus (Timothy I think) is so impossibly perfect for the character!
Hi i have to ask you something important if you was in the riordanverse would you be a demigod or Magician wen i say demigods i mean would you be greek or roman or norse demigods + if you go with demigods side who is your godly parent and if you go to Magician side which path of deity would you take.

I feel like Hepheastus will be used for the water park scene and will show up on a screen before the broadcasting for “HepheastusTV” actually starts or something like that
You may not meet Hephestus in the first book but you do hear him when he is trying to catch Ares and Aphrodite together in the water park so thats probably when you will see him.
The way that they'll probably introduce Hephaestus is put him in the Olympus scene (with a couple of other extra gods) and have those god(s) leave when Zeus, Poseidon, and Percy all start talking.
What Rick Riordan means by Tim Omundson playing (possibly) God in Lucifer is that he played a character who was believed to be god but in fact was wearing a magical belt causing him to believe he was God.
I love that they got an actual disabled actor for Hephaestus! Also, he didn't mention Athena in that other blog post, either, so maybe she will be cast soon as well!
I can see Hephaestus going to camp to check on his kids when he needs to do repair work for Mr. D, also steering ArgoII hopefully in the future, thank you for the videos a joy to watch
i think that hephaestus will make an appearance when the trio is at the waterpark and trying to get ares shield back. also i noticed how athena and persephone were also not listed on gods/goddesses that would be making appearances later on so what if they've also been casted early?
