Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018. Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards, and the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

42:50 – Why have a bed? Pally c'mon. What else does one use a bed for other than sleep?
I've not played the release version, but in early access the shield has been my absolute favorite (tho I like all of them in a way), I think you will come to enjoy it a LOT, especially once you get some nice upgrades for it and get used to the playstyle and learn how it can be modified with boons and such.
There is a build – If you can't seem to finish the game off at the end boss try out Malphon weapon with FULL Athena build. I mean Dash and at least either the Call or the Deflect upon taking damage, pair it with the dodge chance variant of Malphon and try to get the Dodge chance boon from Hermes while if you can, using Lambent Plume as your keepsake and use the Brutal dash that gives you damage and dodge chance when you dash just before getting hit.
Essentially you can get about 30%-40% dodge chance with an extra 50% if you dash just in time AND deflect attacks constantly, making you an immortal God.
People saying they like Greek mythology makes me a bit skeptical. The modern versions we see in games, movies and stories are pretty watered down. I agree its … interesting from a historical standpoint, but also at times really really twisted and effed up.
Are u ever gonna do any smite content?
I really like the bow myself, itβs the one Iβve completed the most runs on.
shield is really good btw
Every time he says "go the distance" I wonder if I missed a Hercules joke or if he does not realize he making me think of the Disney movie's soundtrack.
My favourites are the shield and the sword. Honorable mention for one of the weapons you don't know about yet.
Love this game!
The spear is super good. I've consistently gotten pretty far with it. There's a few weapons that are harder to use, but the spear just feels good.
Love this game, watching you wing out on this is almost as fun as playing it
The bow is pretty awesome, there is an upgrade for it that gets rid of the powered shot, and makes it shoot fast AF
I've got a soft spot for certain variants of the sword (did I do a SPOILER?! woops).
39:15 by having CONVERSATIONS with Cerberus. (2 left to next unlock).
That's what all that means.
I had a great run with the bow where the shotgun I could hold to charge it up for more damage.
My favorite weapon is one you've not unlocked yet. It really packs a…PUNCH.
Shields for sure =]=]
I like the bow the best but spear is a close second
Achilles spear and rail for me. Haven't had the game long but I just need to finish runs with the bow, shield and gauntlets now.
Usually doesn't bother me too much, but it drove me CRAZY when he didn't read/notice things in this game! XD
The spear real power comes from hitting from behind when you recall it with Y. So get the mirror talent that do more damage from hitting enemies from behind.
This build looks like a blast! It's so fun watching Pally get excited as he progresses, discovers new powers and narrowly beats the bosses. π
Aaaaand the moron STILL doesn't take the quick dash….
At least he didn't completely ignore the skill this time.
You need that dash to get anywhere hard.
I love the bow
I still want to punch you scoldingly every time you calls Eros Cupid >.< it hurts my Greek Mythology loving heart soo badly ^^'
Oh and since you asked: My favourite weapon is Malphon as the Aspect of Talos. At this point i doubt you know what that means π
My overall favorite weapon is probably the shield, but my favorite aspect is definitely the hidden aspect of the sword. You'll understand when you unlock it.
gift 1 necter to each npc to get their keepsakes,
i suggest saving your blood of tartarus till you find a favorite weapon so when you finally choose an aspect on your weapon its easier to max out, (shield chaos aspect, spear achilles aspect, bow chiron aspect are one of the stronger aspects to pick from)
The Sheild is the first weapon I managed to escape with. The Gun is nuts. But I like the sheild for the ability to block.
jo
Shield is best weapon. Johanna is OP, so is Shield Heroes. Next has to be the Gloves.
Favorite weapon: Malfon (twin fists) by far. Pair that with Zeus' attack blessing, athena's dash blessing, Hermes' support fire = win. Attack and dash attack at the end of the combo to reset it.
666 likes on a game based in hell or whatever u wanna call it.
"if its never bed time why have a bed" o you know, for all the demons hes "slaying"
Tbh I like all the weapons except the shield and gun…but Spear, sword, and fists are up there.
My favorite is probably Chiron bow or (redacted for spoilers) fists
@ 35:00 no that's hermes
The spear by far – one of its alternate versions slashes your max health by 70%, so you start with 20 instead of 50, but everytime you do an attack, you gain health back. It really transforms the game.
Play Smite PS4 all the time pally!
WTF, I've played 20 hours and never saw that seeking arrows thingy
I played Smite and got better by watching / learning from you! Ever play Smite anymore? I donβt.
I know this has been a long time but my favourite weapon is the shield. I really like having the ability to block like that in action games. I liked lance in mhw for the same reason
Spear is my favorite weapon as well, super fun, especially once you make it the aspect of Achilles
"I love greek mythology!"
>Doesn't know who Sisyphus is
Bruh what
