Hades is a roguelike video game set within the world of Greek Mythology. The player takes on the role of Zagreus which is the son of Hades. His goal is to escape his father and the underworld in which he has been living in his whole life. With the help of many Olympian Gods and Goddesses Zagreus is determined to fulfill his mission. Though his father, Hades, is not a supporter of his escape and will do everything he can to prevent his son from reaching the surface. Throughout the game Zagreus will fight monstrosities and followers of Hades as he makes his way through the underworld one room at a time.
