  1. This was the video I dreaded the most watching, why does it feel like you got to praise the humans a lot.
This is why I didn't like round 7 because it just shows me that no matter what everyone has to die for what exactly.
Survival there are more things to life then survival and this is why Round 7 sucks because I DON'T GET ANY FORM OF CLOSURE.

The reason I love Hades more than Qin is because he is basically my brother and sister, and I love how they always got my back.

I get what you are saying, but it is a tough pill to swallow. But this is why I can't hate all the gods for anything they do, because they are just as humans, and I will never hate them.
I will never acknowledge Qin as Hade's friend, I am sorry but I can't

  2. Hades is a interesting guy unlike the other gods he doesn't proud himself as a god but as a brother.

Still also I got new info
The next 5 rounds for my tournament will be made soon and I can finally let you see it. Hope you enjoy the fights as they are short but get the point across

  3. Even after all this time, with all the new characters introduced, Hades is still one of my favourite record of ragnarok characters
All from his design, weapon and personality make him a top tier for me. I do hope one day we get a Hades spinoff or at least see him in apocalypse of the gods

  4. i think its interesting how he takes the place of buddha in ror as a fighter, and is a king who died discontent with all the things he could have done had he lived for himself more, and despite not inherently claiming regret or that he wished he had done differently, i think its hard not to see the ghost of who buddha could've been in hades as his godly replacement. I think personally i miss a little bit of symbolism in this fight, or maybe just the build up. I think sometimes if you imagine zeus as a god based on his pure form, a childlike form of id, you could imagine poseidon as superego, with hades' own superego making his internal self unbalanced after pos died, leaving hades to fight the king with turmoil in his heart. you could also imagine hades as the super ego, with poseidon representing the ego of the gods, but i think because its kind of hard to say either or, it makes it hard to theorize on that front

  5. I'm surprised there was no mention of Hades influence of Beelzebub, or is that being saved for Beelzebub's video?

I feel like Hades was almost a big brother to Beelzebub as well.
Giving him his weapon, teaching him how to live, helping him attempt to start a new path. It was even after remembering Hades that Beelzebub changed how and why he fought.
Even though he may have been free his burden as he died, he was still chained in a way due to Beelzebub, who carried on Hades' duty, but corrupted and changed. Hades became a light on Beelzebub's world, so Beelzebub was forced to confront the light of mankind via Tesla

  6. Peak analysis as always, Hades is my favorite character in fiction. Thanks for the video.

As a sidenote, it's amazing how his arc perfectly resembles a Greek tragedy, so I leave this as a suggestion for a future video.

  7. Zeus: F*ck losing! We're gods! We don't lose!
Poseidon: We have no need for titles, for pride, for recognition. We are gods.

Hades: As long as my brothers are okay, then I'n okay.
    Zeus: F*ck you!
    Poseidon: F*ck you.
Adamas: Sore loser taking the L, and making Poseidon swear. How does he do it?

  8. My favorite character in the series bar none. His love and dedication to his family and duty and his respect for Qin Shi Huang is nothing short of admirable. Plus I dig his more formal design and personality. If I did have an older brother, I’d want it to be someone as steadfast and dedicated as him.

He’s currently in a three way tie for my favorite depiction of Hades the god, along with Supergiant’s Hades and Hadestown.

  9. Biggest missed opportunities in Record of Ragnarok:
-Genghis Khan and Alexander the Great vs Fujin and Raijin (the theme being cooperation)
-Vidar vs Vlad Tempest (the narrative being the god of vengeance realizing the the entitlement of revenge isn’t so black and white)
-Ötzi the Ice Man vs Osiris (both understanding what it means to be a victim, winner would live on for the defeated’s sake)
