We didn’t miss a chance to ask all those burning Hades questions like; How did all the characters get so dang sexy? What was it like developing in Early Access for the first time? And is Hades secretly teaching me how to play Dota 2? All those bangers and more on today’s episode of Inside Gaming Daily!…er…holiday interview edition?

  1. Hey, everyone! I hope you are having a good break and if you are not on break I hope you get to have one soon. I just wanted to swing by and let you know this was recorded wayyyy back in November so we didn’t get to talk about the GOTY awards and recognition Hades has got since then. It was a ton of fun to talk with Greg and this is easily one of my favorite videos that I have worked on this year. Thanks to all of you for stopping by and I hope everyone has a rad new year!

  2. I started playing games back in the SNES era and this game seems like the thing I should just love. I can't get into it. The moment to moment action doesn't feel fun. Can anyone suggest any hooks I'm missing? I put tens of hours into Dead Cells, loving the feel of an old-school game. This game just doesn't give me any of that same feel.

  3. Great interview! I thought it flowed really well and kept a good tone throughout. I, too, am incredibly biased towards this game and was desperately hoping for a big sweep at the game awards. I'm just glad that this game and the efforts of all the people at Supergiant have been recognized to the extent that it has. I've been following their work for a while now and I'm eager to see what they come up with next.

  4. One of my teachers said the exact same thing, superhero comics (etc) are modern mythology, when I studied literature for a while at the beginning of my university studies. It's a pantheon of established superhuman characters that different authors use for their own stories.

  5. man I wish these guys would have won game of the year cause they would have truly deserved it and the comparisons to dota 2 blew me away I don't know how I didn't see it before cause once it was pointed out it seemed kind of obvious not sure why anybody at IG would laugh at Evan cause he was spot on

  6. Hey really love your content this is awesome . What is your preferred camera you use for filmmaking, I'd love to have a conversation and maybe even collaborate on different methods in telling stories through film!
