Hades Developers React to 25 Minute 'Fresh File' Speedrun

Hades is a game where the main character Zagreus tries to escape hell over and over. But speedrunner Vorime says “No thanks” and just does it in one try! So ride along with Supergiant Games’ Amir Rao (Studio Director) and Greg Kasavin (Creative Director) as they watch and react to one of the coolest speedruns we’ve seen yet!

  1. After having played the game for 2 days(while working), I'm happy to say that I reached Theseus and Minotaur on my second day. I feel there is a sliding glitch where you move and attack. It kept slipping me in the lava. Switch version.

  2. "I just assume everything a speedrunner does is not a mistake and is part of the run-"
Well, Hades is a relatively new game, so quality of play (a term used by Summoning Salt) will only be present a few years down the line. But right now, we are seeing the fresher stages of speedrunning. I really hope the game continues to get speedrun'd!

  3. "if someone can go the distance…" oh? Hercules reference? Lol, that song is very fitting for Zag too tho, I mean, look:

"I'll be there someday, I can go the distance

I will find my way if I can be strong

I know every mile would be worth my while

When I go the distance, I'll be right where I belong"
