The Hydra gets another bite at us, and we explore the verdant fields of Elysium. I didn’t know there was this much green in the whole galaxy!
Our Dad, Hades, is a bit of a control freak. Prince Zagreus is our name, and escaping is the game. Time to hit the road with a little help from our friends on Olympus (Zeus, Athena, Poseidon ringing any bells?). We’ll need to make it through the pits of Tartarus, the burning plains of Asphodel, the verdant fields of Elysium… and who knows what beyond that?
I know a ton about Greek mythology (thank you very much, seven years of Latin in school). So come along and enjoy a run from a guy who will get all the references and will help you understand them too!

starts by getting the upgrade that lets him heal by picking up darkness
ends by choosing not to buy darkness
lol
Yeah I think you forgot that you now heal when you get Darkness…
I would have suggested doing one full run per session and then splitting your play sessions in between runs so you don't lose track of what you have and what you can do.
The other big thing you were missing here, which I hope you figured out later: those warriors turn into the eye things when killed, and then if you don't kill the eye things within a short amount of time, they regenerate into the warriors at full health again.
At any rate, hoping you can beat These- I mean the arena boss with that extra death defiance! Getting through Elysium on your first visit would be quite the flex.
I think it's Tartarus is for the worst of humanity; Criminals, scum, and the like. Asphodel is for the commonfolk, who lived a fairly neutral life (But, as you can see in this game, something caused the meadows to be flooded and turned from a once grey yet serene grassfield, into the hellish landscape you see now), while Elysium is indeed for the noblest of people. Looks to me like they take that almost literally, as we hardly see anyone but warriors there.
At very last shop i wanted to scream at my screen so badly
Man you got a death defiance for free, you always go for health in your runs, what possibly could distract you so much, some special boost? Sometimes i can't trace your logic and that's so frustrating
Not buying darkness which heals you because of that talent is also a stupid move….
like everyone i was kind of screaming at my screen at both ends of this video. XD
