  1. Not a fan of games where you start again from the beginning when you die BUT this game absolutely changed my opinion on rogue-lite games. I am having a blast playing Hades. I'm not even pissed when I die.

  2. Damn Blessing I've never agreed with you more. A game like this with Marvel.. Or DC! Or and I know this would NEVER happan but imagine a Marvel VS DC in this style, And they either fight eachother or they join together to fight the best of the villains

  3. Don't get me wrong, I'm elated that everyone is loving Hades so much, but it's so funny to me to hear all the comments like "the voice acting is so good" or "the music is incredible" or "it's so polished"…like, really ya'll? It's Supergiant…it's been incredible since the day it launched and has only gotten better and better.

Also, noclip has been doing an ongoing doc series chronicling development that is REQUIRED viewing.

  4. Yeah, I picked it up yesterday after watching this. The gameplay is very similar to Transistor and their other games but the upgrade system has been streamlined since their other games. I really like the comic book artstyle, and it never feels like im just grinding for the sake of it. The camera gives you a lot more freedom of movement than Dead Souls, since its not flat 2D. Ive been playing it on PC and will pick up the swtich version soon.

  5. Bought this last night due solely on the reception. I am not a fan of rouguelike. I know the repetition is on purpose but I think repetition is boring……….then I played Hades. Next thing I know I have made 11 attempted escapes and the whole “one more run” is actually a thing! What keeps it fresh right now is definitely the slow drip of story, building relationships with the gods, and trying to find the best build of weapons to boons to artifacts. Plus it was only $15 after using some Nintendo gold. A solid game.
