Hades is an excellent game, with a 98% positive rating on Steam. Supergiant have done it again – that’s 4 swings and 4 home-runs, even as they experiment with their business model.

"but it's deep enough to actually make it interesting and go to distance". Go to distance.. Is that a Hercules reference over there as we are in the Greek mythology setting? 😀
Hades is my first rogue-like and I love it! Actual complete game with a cool story, brilliant art style and voice acting. No run feels the same. They should have charged more
Hades is my game of the year.
I have completely forgotten about the coupon and that it expires soon. Thanks, Conal, for reminding us, it seems a great game to use the coupon on!
i have no idea what your talking about, it looks and sounds completely forgettable
Hello everyone!
Two days ago (16.10.2020) in Wrocław, Poland we had a symphonic concert with music of all Super Giant games! It was a part of third edition of Game Music Festival 😀
There is a full, professional recording under this link: https://youtu.be/9qM1BZjz6H0
Check it out and be AMAZED 😀
Looking at the trailers I never suspected I would find this game that interesting, but I can now confidently say I haven't been this addicted to a video game in a looong while.
I know one of the developers simped for Ina, but idk if I'd call that incredible, calm down.
You guys weren't sleeping on Supergiant Games now, were you?
I'm surprised Michael didn't mention Noclip's coverage of the development of Hades, because that's absolutely what put it on my map.
I got Hades during the mega sale and did not regret it at all. The game was amazing as usual with Supergiant games. Each patch brought new weapons and the game just felt fresh. Put a few hundred hours into it
Cept its not. Its extremely shallow and very repetitive for a game of its type. There are very map sets and enemies. Maybe for $10 but not for its asking price.
It needs to come to a PlayStation console..
Well, I played Hades and Disney's Hercules on the PS1 back-to-back. Hercules beat Hades again!
Hercules is a WAY better game in literally every single way.
I found Bastion repetitive and overly padded. The effort and polish were very apparent, but the padding needs to be in the post credit/end game for those with too much time on their hands.
Since their other games have looked similar I haven't touched SG games since.
What i also really like that you didn't mention is that you before your run even really starts you can choose a weapon and get a random power up.
This makes the difference in runs branch out much earlier than comparable games like Slay the Spire or Isaac where you have a bit of an exhausting standard gameplay experience before you can get into the interesting builds and diverse experiences. It reduces the sting of a failed run that way because the next pull on the slot machine is right there.
What i would like more game studios to do is to have a store selling their game (keys) directly. I explicitly wanted 100% of my money to go to them but found i couldn't because it was either Epic (which has a better revenue split but much worse consumer experience) or Steam. So effectively they screwed themselves out of a percentage of their money by not providing me that option.
I still dont trust Epic Games
Is this fine to play on K&M or does it need a controller?
This game is incredible, one of my favs for sure. Just started playing, so lots of game to keep me busy until cyberpunk
"These steam launches of Epic timed exclusives are actually doing really well"
Who would've thought. Almost as if people refuse to buy it on the epic store and just wait for it to release on steam. That can't be it, right? ¬¬
I assume everyone in the office can't stop playing Hades and you've decided to make use of the time lost? 😉
