  2. its a shame he didn't go far enough in the game to see the other drinks that are offered to Zagreus…. because kiss of Styx is definitely the drink version of his titans blood.

  3. These were some of the most beautifully realised drinks on this channel and they sound absolutely wonderful. If I can find the ingredients for these drinks I definitely want to try making them for myself!

  4. The thing about Tonka Beans is that it kind of works like Alcohol in attacking the liver if consumed in large doses. The key ingredient here is Coumarin, the same chemical also found in high doses in Cassia Cinnamon, and there's some issues in a percentage of the human population that cannot properly turn Coumarin into Umbelliferone.

The ban in the United States results from the 1954 decision, which was made based on Hepatoxicity in rodents.

  5. I wasn't expecting things to be this surprisingly lovecraftian but yeah honestly Dionosus and some of the outer gods share surprisingly many common themes. Golothess straight up hangs out with Bacchus.

Also great taste in rum, I've been taking a bottle of plantation to any festival or party I go to for couple of years now. Generally just make rum n coke out of it though since as I said I take it to festivals in middle of a forest where you just kinda mix shit together in a pint glass.

  6. The key feature of a rogue, roguelike or roguelight game is the loss of varying degrees of progression.

In a rogue game, you lose all progression.

In a roguelike or roguelight game, you will lose some the majority of progression, but you may retain something like currency, skills, unlocks or something similar depending on the implementation.

  7. I don't know why, but I always imagined Ambrosia, as it's a food, to have bready/yeasty notes. A blonde, hops-less ale in a mix, perhaps.

Also, kind of wish the hot iron got brought back out at some point.

  8. It seems that Romans were using a lead-based compound called Lead Acetate, which apparently tastes sweet to the point it was later called Lead sugar. I have never tasted myself and I strongly discourage anyone to do so.
