Every wine ive tasted just tastes like rot to me ;3;
Il just stick to bourbons and skotches :v
Lovecraft episode when? I've heard that a certain black goat of the woods offers a special milk to her followers.
your sponsor is what ive ben looking! thank you!
A) Digging the Lovecraft, Nyarlathotep needs more love.
B) Am I the only one to catch the Combichrist footage?
Hey Greg. Cthulhu/Lovecraft Mythos themed drink. You're already descending into madness.
Ambrosia – The secret ingredient is crime
9:20 drink finally starts.
its a shame he didn't go far enough in the game to see the other drinks that are offered to Zagreus…. because kiss of Styx is definitely the drink version of his titans blood.
These were some of the most beautifully realised drinks on this channel and they sound absolutely wonderful. If I can find the ingredients for these drinks I definitely want to try making them for myself!
Mildly surprised you didn't do some sort of pomagranate-y drink, the ones you did make seem awesome tho, had forgotten the liquidy nature of titans blood tbh
I noticed the bottle change the last time i bought some signature!
It makes me unreasonably grumpy. There was no need for a change.
The thing about Tonka Beans is that it kind of works like Alcohol in attacking the liver if consumed in large doses. The key ingredient here is Coumarin, the same chemical also found in high doses in Cassia Cinnamon, and there's some issues in a percentage of the human population that cannot properly turn Coumarin into Umbelliferone.
The ban in the United States results from the 1954 decision, which was made based on Hepatoxicity in rodents.
“All of you Are really horny for these characters”
You have… no idea, Greg XD
I’ve seen into the Rule34 wormhole, my guy lol
I wonder if/how different types of honey would change the flavor.
Gotta love how ichor is blood in everything else except in mythology where they draw the line at who is bleeding lol
I might be mistaken but that clip when he talked about titans blood is not a titan, that's a mechanical giant
I don’t suppose you have a Curiada equivalent that would help me find/get some of this stuff in Australia?
I wasn't expecting things to be this surprisingly lovecraftian but yeah honestly Dionosus and some of the outer gods share surprisingly many common themes. Golothess straight up hangs out with Bacchus.
Also great taste in rum, I've been taking a bottle of plantation to any festival or party I go to for couple of years now. Generally just make rum n coke out of it though since as I said I take it to festivals in middle of a forest where you just kinda mix shit together in a pint glass.
The key feature of a rogue, roguelike or roguelight game is the loss of varying degrees of progression.
In a rogue game, you lose all progression.
In a roguelike or roguelight game, you will lose some the majority of progression, but you may retain something like currency, skills, unlocks or something similar depending on the implementation.
Mommy Nyx Milkers drink please.
Like a Greek White Russian. Call it a "White Midnight".
I always thought the narrator was the one writing the codex in Hades, not Zagreus
As an avid reader of Lovecraft, I cannot believe I never made that connection between Dionysus and Nyarlathotep. HOW DID I MISS THAT SHIT
i might be wrong but isnt ichor often referenced to as gods blood
I don't know why, but I always imagined Ambrosia, as it's a food, to have bready/yeasty notes. A blonde, hops-less ale in a mix, perhaps.
Also, kind of wish the hot iron got brought back out at some point.
I finally get Hades as a gift and he makes a drink for it on the same week.
It seems that Romans were using a lead-based compound called Lead Acetate, which apparently tastes sweet to the point it was later called Lead sugar. I have never tasted myself and I strongly discourage anyone to do so.
