In 1988, their second album If at First You Don´t Succeed was released with new lead guitarist Ed Fuhrman. During May and June 1989, Hades embarked upon a European tour that was quite unsatisfying for the band, which had them playing at small venues and ultimately built up internal tension. After playing live for a month, the band broke up.
