Hello and welcome to my Disney Villainous Strategy Guide video series.
This one is about Hades. Being one of the more difficult villains to play as, I decided to make an in depth strategy guide so you all can hopefully learn something!
Feedback would be appreciated, so I can learn what works and what doesn’t for the videos! Thank you for watching!

  1. Another great Villainous video! I got a question about Yzma tho: if Kronk has 3 power, he is treaten as a Hero, right? Then how could he retun back to in my hand without using right-hand man? Should I vanquish him and then hopefully draw him after my deck has no cards left?

  2. So a few things with regard to your double rumble strat: 1) I Rule! can help with that! If you discard extra Allies or even excess Titans, you can get a fair amount of Power with it, helping you stockpile. 2) A competent opponent is going to Fate you, and The Gardens might be covered on top, and you need to account for not being able to double play. Chariot can help with that. 3) Pain isn't the most useful – you want to be using your Move actions on Titans, and he's pretty expensive. 4) Don't put all your eggs in the double rumble basket – if you have the opportunity to keep moving Titans closer, go for it! Hades is slow, and needs all the speed he can snag.

  3. I think the problem with Lythos' ability is that Hades' more accessible Move action is at the same location as his Vanquish action, and usually you don't want to double Vanquish, so it's kind of superfluous. But it could come in handy if you actually have two targets you want to ice!

  4. Also, as far as having Titans at Thebes looking less intimidating, if you're playing someone who's also familiar with Hades, they'll recognize what you're doing, and why you're hoarding Power, and will still Fate you anyway. I don't recommend stopping moving Titans to try for this double play if you're playing someone who knows what they're doing.

  5. Ruthless depends on the matchup. Versus Prince John or Ratigan or Jafar or even Captain Hook, hold on to it. Rage is great if it can move Hercules or Zeus, and I'd honestly hold onto it. The only other card that moves Heroes is Pain, and he's… not the best.

  6. Thanks for the strategy guide. I love playing Hades, but fate cards hurt too much. Watching your video raised a question for me. If you had Titans at Hercules’ location, would that prevent Go The Distance from moving them?

  7. I’ve heard Gaston is sort-of confirmed, so that probably means a new set. I would like to see Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls, even though it’s unlikely he’ll be done. I would also like to see Callaghan from Big Hero 6.

  8. Howdy I took a look at the video yea these strategies are goods in all but some mega tier ones for ya when it comes to hades

    1. this is by far the most important consider your objective to get four Titans to mount Olympus instead of three and its mathematics is why, if you exclude the bolts and Zeus (of course) its one-third of the deck to sabotage you they need to hit 2 of those in 1 rotation and chances are they hit 2 needed in one fate so one has to discard that lowers the odds even more of hitting another one needed and with all that there's "Get ready to Rumble", "The planet's align" (or move pyros back) and a simple move action. in other words its not card house fragile any more with four titans up there (if someone does the impossible and get all 5 titans up there it's just impossible to stop without bolt or Zeus)

    2. if Zeus is at mount Olympus and not enough to vanquish yet Don't move him, to let your opponents do it because once you untrap titans he can't retrap them till he's moved and moved back in place, also in my opinion I would wait for Hermes to be played or discarded before vanquishing him because that tutors Zeus out of the discard after vanquishing him

    3. if you don't have titans yet go ahead and discard your "get ready to rumble"s because what's the point if you can't achieve yet, as a matter of fact, I wouldn't start holding till you have at least 2

    4. "I rule" is a lot better than it looks and the big key here is I would discard your non-titan allies since there's nothing to vanquish yet and helps you dig for the titans so you will be gaining lots of power that way for the Rumbles.

    5. rage is discarded always, (only use on Hercules and move to Olympus) secondly "Ruthless" depends on how much power your opponents are hording, if any are holding lots don't let go, and if one or more opponents are playing with Prince john or/and Ratigan NEVER DISCARD RUTHLESS EVER! those 2 villains will 99.9% of the time hit that power very quickly.

    6. Trick with the chariot if not many titans yet, if in the middle realm depending on which end your at (always works with underworld) you can move the chariot to your location with the "move" action and get the 5th action every turn instead of every 2 turns but don't do this when enough titans are in play just stick with moving two once or one 2 steps forward
