  1. If anyone wants the true nature of Hades I recommend the boon daughter of Sparta, it's nothing Percy Jackson it's in ancient Greece and it's 16+ but it's still cool to see Hades in different and true perspective

  2. I love how in media, Hades is portrayed as creepy, dark and evil…when in actual mythology, he's one of the chillest gods and way better then Zeus or Poseidon. (I mean he is still kinda a creep, but less than the other two)

  3. Yeah, hades is considered to be a stern n fair god as well as 1 of the more passive olympians in real mythology. Indeed, the camp half-blood series, unlike several other modern depictions of hades, is more faithful to his mythological personality. Rather than showing him as a sinister n malevolent demoniac monarch of sorts, like his father kronos, hades is more often a neutral chr, w/ a great appreciation for justice n morality. Ironically, 1 of the massive issue fans had w/ the film adaption of "the lightning thief" was its portrayal of hades, as instead of remaining faithful to both the book's version n mythological portrayal of him, it instead followed other modern films' mistake of portraying hades as a villainous antagonist w/ similarities to the judeo-christian devil
