I payed 5 diamonds to hear this masterpiece and didn't even get to hear the singing
Best game I've played in a long time. I really enjoyed the pacing of the story.
I didn't expect to cry during a game like this, but I did. Gorgeous song and game!

My mom died mid September, and I got this game last week. I’ve played it nonstop. The themes. The chats. The music. The brilliance of the design. 80 hours played in a week. Still haven’t beaten it. Don’t care. Taking my time. This game has literally been the most therapeutic, life-changing, philosophy relating thing I’ve had in forever; especially at this time in my darkness.
Perhaps that’s just over-attachment at a time of complete withering. Perhaps I’ve finally gone crazy. But I will never forget this game as it’s been one of the best parts of this most terrible journey.

Maybe the problem is that I'm not a native english speaker.
"Your dearest kin" = "Your closest/best friend/relative"
"Below the skin" = "Under the skin"? Your skin? What skin?
Is it a reference to the blood connection again?
Or more deeply, like below skin and everything else there is a soul?
Or does it says that you are your dearest kin for yourself?
From the grammar point of view, don't understand why it's "*the* skin",
I have no idea what skin they are refering to.
Also I am not sure about the transition from the previous lines.
Before they sing that home is people who care about you.
And here "the place you belong" is probably "your home" again,
so it's about people, not literally "the place".
That kind of explains the transition to "Your dearest kin".
But I still don't understand what "Below the skin" means here.
Maybe someone can help me with it?

the moment you hear this in game is so beautiful and the singers are so f*cking good that i can only say thank you , honestly
This song just start at the perfect moment in the game. The feelings… I didn't feel that since a long time in a video game.
Thus is the ballad of one who fought through the entire Underworld and faced countless foes and experienced countless deaths to reach the surface. To then succeed in his grand quest to find his mother and seek answers, only to finally reunite his broken family and bring a new age to afterlife of all mortals.
