Hades Part 1: I guess it’s a 2019 game if you count early access. If you enjoy any of DemonCrawl, Slay the Spire, or Enter the Gungeon, you’ll love this. Hades is the only game I’ve played off-stream in the past two months, and that’s saying a lot since it’s not a puzzle game.

I hope this game hasn't been played out, because I've LOVED playing it so far! I also think I undersold the strategy/decision making aspect of this game. It wouldn't be a rougelike game without strategy.

Risk of rain 2 technically launched this year so I’m not sure if I can agree with the title but this game is definitely up there. Great game with great character writing and gameplay.
