The 1 hour length is perferct in my opinion. I am so hyped for this game. In terms of Ascension and the PSP ones: They have more backstory, obviously. They are shorter. I would be an investment into the character Kratos. If you want to play it, then go for it. You probably would make the super-duper hardcore fans very happy. Now, I am hungry. Pancakes sound delicious. 😉

If you want to learn more about Greek mythology then reading the Odyssey and Iliad of Homer are good to start off with. Be warned though both of the poems are divided into 24 books.

Hades.. one of the greatest soulslike boss fights in a non-souls-like game :>
On hardmode it took me 3 hours to beat him.
normal is just too easy….
I found the final boss fight in this game to be overly long and tedious.

Man… I do the whole public transit thing and there is so much that is annoying to straight up depressing. Thanks for bringing the content and humor. It makes the trip so much easier.
If you’re not going to play Ascension or the PSP games. I would recommend the “Everything God of War Got Wrong” videos by The Mythology Guy if you want to learn a little more about the Greek Mythology in these games but not watch a full blown video essay about it.
