Hades | My First Aspect of Chiron Run | #35

Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018. Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards, and the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

  1. I did a run only touching the dash button for attacks. I got Poseidon's dash, as well as rupture and the extra barrier slam damage. Other than that I focused on Pomegranates and defensive boons. Had the dash at lvl 11 at the end, because I was using the Pom trinket from Mom. It was my 15th Hades kill. Poseidon is the strongest god.

  2. something of note about fishing, each biome has 3 different fish to catch, a common uncommon and rare fish. the faster you press the button the better it is, if you press the button within x amount of time it will be rare, a little slower and its uncommon, and if your slow on the draw its common. i have yet to see a rare fish from the river styx myself, im too slow on the catch when i get there for some reason. go catch em all!

  3. You complained about Theseus' shield but there's an easy work around. Every time he throws his spear he turns around and walks directly away from you, giving you an opening on his back. So just wait for the throw and catch, then do damage, then wait for the throw and catch, then do damage. Ez Pz

  4. It's been a lot of fun kind of playing along with you Pally. I'm not nearly as good as you at this game but it's been fun nonetheless. I had fun messing around with the Zeus/Ares duo boon.

  5. Hey bud. Dionysis is good with chiron. Put it on the special and palm the freck out of it. melts everything Alsooooo,Okay now hear me out. the mirror has alternative options. sooooo instead of rolling the boons you get for each room, you can roll the boons you get offered. That way you can make sure you get what you want. so if you choose say zues to start with you keepsake, then you can make sure you get the boon your looking for. TRY it out my dude

  6. Just a little tip: You don't need to alternate Attack and Special constantly with Chiron's Aspect. You have time to fire at least three Specials with every application of the mark. That alone should shave some time of your next Chiron run. It is my favorite aspect for my favorite weapon, but it isn't the fastest and it isn't the greatest at AoE damage, so don't try to break any records with it, just have fun with how satisfying it is.

  7. The aspect of Chiron is really nice. Especially with the hammer upgrade that gives you +4 arrows per special. I did a similar build to this but for some reason I just couldn't get the poseidon zeus duo to drop even with rerolls.

  8. FYI my beautiful boy.

Lucky tooth gives you 100 extra HP.

When you resurect with a a collar it basicaly gives you extra 25 HP
Since you have 3 resurections it gives you a total of + 25 x 3 + 50 HP if you have all 3 resurrections available.

So theoretically it does give +25 more HP, but if you do not make any use of death defiance then it does not matter that much :3

  9. ….. lol, so you finally TAKE CHAOS, and pass up….. an epic attack…… lol. I dunno what to say about it anymore bud. The reason you take Chaos is to get boosts to your attack or your special. That's the reason you're doing it. Your build would have benefitted from it. You literally have to ATTACK to mark people. It's something you're forced to do for your build. Why don't you want your attack to be much better? lol. Like, dude.

  10. getting sniper shot was actually really bad because poseidon boons knock many enemies too far away and your special has limited range. you're missing A LOT of specials that are fired beyond really close range
