  1. Ayyy hades playthough plus a reaction for this thing nice

If you're a hack and slash guy, you'll feel right at home, no worries. GL on the playthrough, it's challenging but not impossible, you can do it 😄

  2. For a bit of context, different versions of the song play depending on what's happening onscreen. The chill groovy version plays in casual rooms, when everything is dead, the bass walks and when you get to the boss, it goes into overdrive. Love the work they did for this game, musically and otherwise

  3. Hades is an excellent game with a lot of content even after you have seen the credits. It also technically has two proper endings, so this playthrough might take a lot longer than you think. Personally I have almost 320 hours on Steam after 2 full playthroughs and getting all achievements and still have plenty of stuff I could do, but don't let that intimidate you.

  4. As someone (EDIT: @stressed_dm) mentioned under a previous reaction of yours to Hades, Darren Korb once gave genre descriptions for each of his soundtracks and described Hades as "Mediterranean Prog-Rock Halloween music", which sounds pretty apt.

  5. As other people have mentioned, the soundtrack is indeed dynamic. But it's not just a simple case of "crossfade back and forth between the chill version and the electric version depending on whether you're in combat." It's doing something more complicated than that. You'll just have to see how it works when you play it.
