I had quite a bit to nitpick about this rap. For example, there are common stories of Hades spiriting away Persephone by force, but in Hades, didn't she confess to willingly going with Hades to get away from her family in Olympus? I think that qualifies as "consent", even if most of Olympus didn't see it that way at first (fuck you, Zeus).
But after thinking a bit, I feel like this rap is trying to convey to us what Zagreus was thinking about in his earlier attempts at escaping the underworld. With this realization, I think the rap's done a decent job at being faithful to the game.
Still, I think it could've done a better job at VA's, like Skelly and his unnaturally deep voice compared to his more nasally voice in game. Also, the line "When I earn a boon, I deserve the finest" is not the kind of personality trait I expect from Zagreus. Heck, in this rap he seems to spurn Athena's "defense" when it was Athena who first started to offer aid to Zagreus, and he's always grateful to his Olympian relatives who offer him aid regardless of the strength of the boons.

Cmon JT Music there’s a literal 20 second gap until there is actually bars set in. I’m sincerely disappointed with you and your team. Every single time I notice you have a new track come out. Your teams tracks get worse. Like I said before you guys are becoming a parody. Almost a parody of a parody.
Just realized the salmon line is pun because just like zagreus when he gets out of hades, salmon immediately die at the end
I can understand trying to build up hype for the track but seriously it’s getting old and ridiculous at this point. I stopped listening and watching at the actual start of the track. This is getting tiresome.

Hades is one of my favorite games and got me interested in rogue-lites and and rogue likes. You captured the feel of the game so well. I've been binging your music since I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and I love your work. This is one of my favorites, up there with She'd No Grace On Me, Daddy's Home, Open Your Eyes, Riddle For You and Never Wake Again. Actually even narrowing my faves down that much is hard because you have so many amazing songs. Also, the themes of family estrangement hit close to home for me. Blood doesn't equal family though, right? Anyway, great track guys.
