  1. So just some quick things to answer the questions you had:
Chtonic-Just means that it belongs or is from the underworld. So he's just saying that he and hades have beef in the Underworld, basically.
Nyx: Goddess of Night. She's like ancient ancient, compared to the main Greek Pantheon.
Ares-You got it right! He's the God of War. Athena is the Goddess of Wisdom and Strategy, which is where I would guess the confusion is happening.
Dionysus-God of Wine (and by Extension, Grapes and Orchards), and Partying.
Homer is the Writer of the Illiad (The Story of the Trojan War) and the Odyssey (The story of Odysseus' journey after the Trojan War)

Orpheus-Human that tried to get his dead lover back from Hades. He was a super talented singer/musician and that talent led to Hades telling him he could have her back, but there was a test. Orpheus would walk ahead of her, and he was not allowed to look back at her until they had both exited the Underworld. Unfortunately, he looked back after he exited the Underworld, but she hadn't yet, so her soul was sucked back into the underworld.
