Hades is quite simply one of, if not the greatest indie games ever made. It’s a one-off Roguelite / Roguelike that’s brimming with fast and frantic combat and a stunning story and narrative. In this full review, Stuart James from Get Indie Gaming reviews Hades on both PC and the Nintendo Switch.

Welcome to our review of Hades. Our new #1.
Definitely a contender for greatest sleeper hit of all time
Less challenge and more into narrative games? Alright I'm out.
Impossible to stop playing this game
Jesus is it that good?! I guess I should buy it without asking..
Well, that was certainly an endorsement, so I went ahead and bought it.
Can you offer an example where Dead Cells felt unfair? Asking as a game designer, to better understand player perception.
For example in Hades, a projectile can hide behind a column/wall and sneak up on you. That's an unfair death.
Great review – I was hesitating getting this as it sort of seems a little out of my usual genre – but this review coupled with the 'Overwhelmingly positive' rating on steam has convinced me to pull the trigger
Been playing this since it dropped in early access a couple years back & I'm glad to have seen it grow into a truly magical experience. Started a new save on hell mode in epic & just grabbed my switch version a few days ago. I'm addicted & can't get enough. Hell we'll probably end up buying a steam copy too since I love super giant so much
This game is dope!
I wasn't as taken by the trailer as I was for their previous titles, but I've heard good things about this game. I'll have to give it a go sooner or later.
Go forth and multiply line had me in stitches. Awesome game btw.
My favorite game to play right now bought it when it was on sale on the switch. Ita great when ever I get a chance I get a run in and I have got 20 runs in and i wanna kill that damn Minotaur soon
I hate rogue-likes. In particular action rogue-likes.
This game slaps, as does this channel. One question though: Why do you keep saying "Zagarus", even when the name "Zagreus" is visible on screen?
Zag-re-yus.
Hades is definitely one of the best games I have ever played! Every other game I was playing has stopped since getting it. Supergiant are masters of their craft!
GOTY
Last time I played this gem was in early early access and I made it to the final boss fight on my 3rd run. I wonder how much more there is in the game now 10 monthes later and its fully released. Time to grind bby!
The English Accent is meh in a game based in Greek Gods And Greek mythology. They Should add Greek Accents to get this more immersive!
