Hades is a roguelike action role-playing video game developed and published by Supergiant Games. The game was released for Microsoft Windows and Nintendo Switch on September 17, 2020, which followed an early access release from December 2018. Players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape from Underworld to reach Mount Olympus, at times aided by gifts bestowed on him from the other Olympians. Each run challenges the player through a random series of rooms populated with enemies and rewards, and the player uses a combination of their main weapon attack, dash power, and magic ability to defeat them while avoiding damage to progress as far as possible. While Zagreus will often die, the player can use gained treasure to improve certain attributes or unlock new weapons and abilities to improve chances of escaping on subsequent runs.

  33. This is the first game in a while that Pally has done that I've been interested in, (I got burned out on Heroes a while ago) and honestly, I kinda forgot how much fun he is to watch. Great humor and commentary!

  45. just to point out to people who dont have much ocnfidence in playing this sort of game, there is an option thats called "god mode" and what this does is increase your defence %. initially 20% and every death increases it by 2 up to 80%. this is great cause eventually you find the sweet spot where you can get through the game but it isnt a cake walk. and by then Pacts are a thing and daaamn thats fun.
    infact one of my fav builds is putting it on then going revenge boons. doom on being hit, lightning falling etc and unlike most boon effects, they stack. so lightning bolt followed by doom damage followed by them being frozen is fecking great to see. and the damage is HIGH. and there are a few boons that increase your defence % even more and… damn it's great to see.

  48. Coming back to an older vid, after watching more recent vids any playing the game myself. Honestly impressed he defeated meg first try, i got my ass handed to me several tries before i got it down
