Routed runs in Hades are Seeded runs with precise RNG Manipulation performed by the runner in order to get ideal rooms/enemies/boons/rewards to get the fastest run (in ingame time) possible. Routing is made possible through the use of mods, but legal runs must be performed without mods.
This video is an overview of how routing works, what a route is, and how to move through one. Linked below are resources for running this and other routes, as well as an “overexplained” runthrough of the route, and the current World Record on this route. The route featured in this and other videos was created by Paradigmsort, modder & router extraordinaire.

This is an amazing resource for newbies like me. thanks so much!
7:15 the 2nd pot was clearly in view behind the candle, and the set on the right is 2 pots. the rng incremented exactly 1 per pot. not to be mean, this is a cool video and I understand what the runner was doing in the seeded wr now (I'm not a speedrunner and probably won't become one but I think speedrunning is super cool and enjoy understanding them), just felt the urge to nitpick since this is youtube comments lol
Nice explanation, thanks !
I couldn't understand why you sometimes have to waits a few seconds (based on timer or music, i.e. 19:35)
It doesn't seem to trigger some voiceline RNG
Instead of going through all this, someone should tell the devs to make a mode that let's you specialize class after you've beaten the game their way. Game has so many great builds that could be explored but they remain in darkness.
So where did this run come from in the first place? Was it just a hell of a lot of trial and error to get all the rooms where there’s not too many waves of enemies, or what?
