Shield is most likely the best weapon currently residing in Hades. Its combination of low-but not actually low- mobility and low-but not actually low- damage in combination with its ability to go invulnerable at will really puts it at a distinct advantage over other aspects. Probably the easiest high-heat weapon to use because of the amount of mechanics and attacks you can straight up ignore.
Boon selection again becomes relevant with shield, but luckily you can’t go wrong with any combination of zeus, poseidon and in shield’s case, Ares.
