Hades probably should have won game of the year.

If only Hades had been an interactive movie… it might have had a chance of getting GOTY.
I loved this game. As someone who isn’t the best at games I never felt punished or bogged down by dying constantly. I felt rewarded as the story was genuinely interesting and each death taught me how to play better. 100% agree that this should’ve been game of the year.
Jayne you have to play hollow knight and ori games!
I would love to see Jayne doing a Pokemon Nuzzlock
I think you could try Doom Eternal. If you haven't played it yet. I also like Hollow Knight very much
no variety, only OW please
Good video jayne!
RISK OF RAIN 2 FUCK YEAH!
Dude, I loving seeing you branch out and do this!
yes.
I'd love to see you do some Hollow Knight runs
Hades has been my favorite game for 2020 and this year, and it helped get me through some hard stuff. It makes me so happy to see you enjoying this game, too! I feel like everyone can play this game differently and enjoy it uniquely. Great analysis!
Can't wait for Ror2 content!
Guys…..I think Jayne might like Hades….not sure about it yet though…..
overwatch?
Great job. Keep it coming jayne.
I would love to see more Hades, I spent 160 hours on this game and got most of the high level achievements! I couldn’t agree more with you about all of your points on self improvement and the feeling of pure bliss when you overcome the hardest boss of all.. yourself!
I watch you for your personality so I’d love to see you do more variety content! Best of luck Jayne
Oh dip. That's my twitter request for a fresh file run. I'm famous!
The production quality of your YT videos makes them worth a watch, even if I don't particularly care about the subject.
Don't get the point of 'variety content' tbh. Speciality means higher quality, that's just fact. But if you get bored with OW, I kinda understand.
Btw, I'm sure I'm not alone in this, EVE sounds pretty awesome, but too complicated, scary and time intensive to really try out. Some educational introduction in what the gameplay actually is on the various stages of the game (are there even stages like beginner, mid-game, post-game, galaxy?).
It's my personal GOTY for sure. A game that takes 20min to "beat" and yet, nearing 100 hours in, I'm still seeing new content and discovering new ways to play. For those who haven't tried this game and are skeptical:
-videos do not do the graphics justice
-watching the game cannot capture how smooth the controls are and how good it feels
-analysis of loot strategies in no way capture how compelling and addictive the loot system is
-dialogue out of context will not convey how subtle and responsive the characters and world are
I bought this because it had good reviews, not because i though it looked like anything that great, but it is really really that great and i'm hard pressed to think of a game I was still enjoying this much when this far into the "endgame."
Looking forward to more runs from Jayne.

I would love to see you try out Apex Legends or other shooters, I've never heard of this game before seeing you play it and since it's not ported to console yet, I cant even try it.
Before I get into why, Jayne: You should play some of Supergiant's previous games if you haven't. They've only made 3 other games, and they're all critically acclaimed! Give them a shot, see where the masterpiece that is Hades came from.
Now, I've read and watched many reviews of Hades at this point, and this is the only one I've seen that entirely ignores the narrative aspects. Not that it's a bad thing! Supergiant Games are known for their stories far more readily than their gameplay, so it's really unique to see a review that eschews the former to focus exclusively on the latter. It's fascinating and incredibly impressive that Hades holds up so well when you knock one of its legs out from under it. With that in mind, if be interested in your perspective on their previous games, as they're all generally fantastic, but more driven by their plots than their gameplay loops (with the possible exception of Pyre).
If you're interested in more about how Hades was created, People Make Games did a video about how the dialog system works (because Hades has a word count of 300,000 and that's absurd), and Noclip has been filming a documentary series about this game's development called Hades: Developing Hell that's also exceptional (and the final episode should be coming later this month). Give those a watch if you're intrigued, Supergiant seem like cool people who make cool games!
Hundred percent agree
If you're liking roguelites/kes with any kind of mechanics, RoR2 is king but full of BS moments/builds. If you want a non-BS silly one I highly recommend Streets of Rogue or of course Dead Cells.
Then there's always Isaac or its sidescrolling clone, Neon Abyss.
I really like this! I did end up getting this game and playing it quite a bit. I’m having a lot of fun with it.
That’s a lot of load outs
It's kind of crazy, I had been avoiding Tight Deadline because most of what I enjoyed about the game was making random builds work by whatever means, and the ticking timer meant that I wouldn't have time to test out boons I wasn't used to or proper rotations. As such, I was mostly learning the fight mechanics and it wasn't unusual for me to get through the Hades fight without taking much damage at all. I saw your first video and thought "a speed run could definitely be cool, let me try that out." I've done a few runs (nothing close to 10 minutes) but I realized last night that when I was going for speed, I was throwing everything that I'd learned about the fights out the window in the interest of just trying to pump out damage as fast as possible. I kind of had the reverse realization that you had; I had learned the mechanics, but was abandoning them in the interest of speed. I'm not entirely sure what to do with this knowledge, like you say here, abandoning the proper mechanics may actually speed up the process, I'm just not sur that's what I want to do, I think I might shift back to trying to finally get through Hades phase 3.
I saw this in Steam and was hesitant to buy it, but you've convinced me!
Does that mean no more overwatch? 🥺🥺
Ori and the will of the wisps is a fucking masterpiece
Pls try playing a fighting game like, super smash, tough love arena, street fighter brwalhalla or something els you will love it!
I think u would like to play Diablo 3, if u hasn’t played it yet 😉
I find it hilarious that I just saw this video on my home page because I just bought hades yesterday because some of my friends had talked about it. You're content has always kind of shifted with my tastes and kept me engaged.
Leave the likes at 666, it's way too appropo, just dislike but it's not a dislike Jayne, love the new stuff.
I'm surprised I haven't seen a ''Hades nuts'' joke anywhere yet
My friends and I actually started doing competitive hades runs and it’s been a hell of a time
