Probably the most misunderstood and misrepresent God of Olympian mythology is Hades. From depictions of Him in literature, films, television, games…He gets the “evil” reputation. Who is Hades and what is He really like?

Thanks for making this video. I think people fear him as a devil type chracter but he is not. The main Gods I work with are Zeus, Poseidon and Hades. I see Zeus as like a father figure and Poseidon and Hades as a fun uncle. I always ask him to look after my passed love ones. good video
Very informative video ❤ Ancient people were terrified of dying than people these days. That's why they don't spoke very much of Hades. That's what I thought always.
I worship Hades and Hekate according to the Chaldean Oracles, where Hekate is seen as the bridge between the material realm and the intellectual realm, the bridge we're supposed to cross in the end of our lives. And I like to think of Hades as the beginning of this ascension. He's the basis of the mankind, the solid ground beneath our feet, the first guide. Simply put, you cannot learn, transform yourself spiritually and prepare for the ultimate ascension without looking after your physical body first. Without solid ground, Hades' domain, the Nature and her many gifts we rely upon would be virtually non-existent.
i have a friend who's patron is Hades 🙂 he seems really really wonderful from what I've heard of him and what little interaction i've had with him through them. I often find myself really jealous of my friend lol (in a good way! not a bitter one). i've also had a few dreams with who seems to be Hades and they've been some of the best i've had in a long time 🙂 thanks for making this video! very helpful!!

I think he was vilified by the emerging church as evil to help the church solidify their hold over people.
Thank you, that's an important topic to discuss!
