This Hades PS5 game guide video shows an example of a boss fight with Theseus and Asterius – two bosses of the Elysium dungeon. We’ve used the Eternal Spear in this example of how the boss fight can play itself out. Expect to use different tactics with other weapons and for other things to look differently based on your active boons and permanent unlocks.
This is a two-on-one fight and we strongly recommend that you focus on the minotaur first. Don’t ignore Theseus though, because he will be trying to perform long range attacks. Start using dashes or hide behind indestructible cover when you notice you’re being targetted. When fighting Asterius watch out mostly for his big jumps and dash away quickly from where he’s planning to land. It’s a good way to stay on the outskirts of the arena. Make sure to start running when the boss enters fury state.
Once Asterius is gone switch to attacking Theseus. The best way to weaken him is to wait for him to throw the spear and then quickly dash to find yourself behind him and to inflict backstab damage. Watch out for his additional round attack. Theseus will ask gods for help when he’s got about 50% health left – this means you have to run and dodge more often to avoid the circles appearing on the ground.

Important – Our video is merely an example and display of overall tactics in the Asterius and Theseus boss battle. The fight itself can look differently depending on your main weapon, your other attacks (including Cast and its variations), difficulty level and on the boons and permanent unlocks you have available.
