Hades tribute

If I now started counting the amount of times I watched hercules as a kid, it’d be counting till next Sunday. Hercules is a classic and probably my favorite Disney movie. And that is largely because of Hades. I know that in Greek mythology he isn’t a bad guy, but the movie does a great job of addressing that, by doing the absolute minimum. Hades is the God of the underworld, a duty given to him by his brother Zeus. And after millennia of governing the dead, he is tired of it. That is a human trait, and it helps make Hades a relatable antagonist. It basically shows what could have happened in mythology if the God’s were more like mortals. And in true Disney villain fashion, instead of talking it out with his brother, Hades hatches and evil plan to overthrow him. He is basically the God version of Scar. An evil uncle after the throne.
