Zeus reluctantly granted Hades ownership of the Underworld. Unbeknownst to Zeus and the other deities, however, Hades despises the Underworld as well as his work, finding them both grim, depressing, and overbearing. Because of this, Hades secretly plans to overthrow Zeus and rule Mount Olympus as the King of Olympus himself. Hades is no match for his older brother. However, what Hades lacks in physical strength, he makes up for in cunning and Hades is able to unleash the hideous Titans and lead him to victory and power.
