Taking a glance at Hades, the new action rogue-lite from Supergiant Games, purveyors of such fine games as Transistor, Bastion and also Pyre. It is mechanically smooth as silk and unreasonably good looking. Also the internet is thirsty for 90% of these characters, and I am 90% sure this will get flagged 18+. Cheers!

You know, I feel that Supergiant games were like "remember all those times we decided to tone down how drop dead sexy our character designs were? How bout this time… We don't"
Also, just cause this game is so good at showing off its mechanics (and there are SO many), instead of recommending a build or anything I will just say trying out new stuff is almost always rewarded.
Also, contrary to its genre, damn Hades has a good story. Mostly due to excellent character arcs and an absurdly large amount of unique dialogue, but the main plot is really good too
Sisyphus was punished so harshly because he tried (and partly succeeded) to kidnap Thanatos, aka Death incarnate, to make himself immortal.
