A day full of great music, destiny, and kick ass women. Discovered a new band and got to see them live the same day! I absolutely love their look and sound. A throwback to the heyday of fierce and in your face rock! Hades!

Checked Hades. Very good. Band maid are fortunate in having Kanami who I believe is a composer a order of magnitude above the rock genre. She will develop and grow and the talent of the band members will develop with her.
Bridear's new song "Eyes of Doubt" is amazing. Really enjoyed the new MV. I have been enamored with Bridear for a while now. Aegis of Athena is such a good album. they are under rated. I love them. So happy to hear someone else talking about them. I actually listened to Hades' song "Bring it On' sometime over the past week and really enjoyed it. I am looking forward to more by them, I think that's the only song they have posted so far on their channel.
hahahahahahahha. I am a Michael Barbour convert/victim too!!!!!! Will be in Osaka and Tokyo end of April.
I adore Saiseiga as well. They have an EP ready to drop also.
Thanks to Band-Maid, my eyes have been opened to the J-music scene. Hope you continue this series because I'm relatively new to J-music so i'm always looking for new bands. I like that Hades song and gonna have to dive deeper into Bridear.
Hell, Hades, it's all the same to me, Peter. I hear the Bahamas are nice this time of year, if you'd gone there
you could've still sold your soul to BAND-MAID & everything.🤷♂️
YouTube spammed me with the Hades video too and I was surprised how good they were for a zero info channel. Turns out they have been around a long time under a different name but it did make me think about how many more hidden jems there has to be that keep plugging away at the weekends…
lol so you're saying Band-Maid is like a gateway drug?
I have heard of all of them and listened to some. Especially like Hades and Full Moon.
They are great. On friday in Stockholm I was at another power women band from Osaka, Japan: Shonen Knife. Heard them first at 1993 and now 30 years later I saw them. You should check them out. Actually I am gonna have a lottery on my radio show to win a signed CD and guitarpicks from Shonen Knife and through Internet it is possible to listen but time zones is a bitch *-)
The second you held up that ticket I got jealous. I’d love to live in Japan for this very reason. Seeing so many of these more obscure bands that I’ve grown to love would be awesome.
Started listening to the new bridear song yesterday. And you're right it's one of their. Best songs. Will Definitely check out Hades. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks for the video, heard Hades last week and not bad.Really liked the new Bridear song as well.
Might i suggest checking out Mari's debut album, she has a YouTube channel with drum covers of Marys Blood and other songs and she could use the views.
MARI's first solo album『CATHARSIS』
March 29th (Wednesday) release
Mari was the Drummer with Destrose and Marys Blood, this is her first solo album, but she has a rather impressive list of musicians on it
"In addition to her powerful play as a metal drummer, she will show off her new side for the first time with songs and vocals written by herself!
As her arrangers, unique musicians such as HIZAKI (Versailles / Jupiter), JIN (former support keyboard of Vamps), and Akira Nakayama (Plastic Tree) are appointed, and you can feel the strong sound impact.
Guest musicians include HIZAKI (Versailles / Jupiter), Akira Nakayama (Plastic Tree), YUI (CYNTIA), MASASHI (Versailles), Rosana: miho, etc., making the work even more colorful."

This video was weird timing, I just listened to the Hades song yesterday. I like it. I can tell they would be great live. I’m going to check out the other bands at that show. When I go to Japan I’m definitely going to go to as many shows as I can. Also I love the Bridear song. It gets better ever time I listen to it.
