  1. You say absoluut? What the fuck about the gear that is still needed to farm? You can't do much with the gear that is supposed to be better! The gear you say is not worth farming is all we have to farm! You paid influences does only make money for you! 😂

  2. I don't think it is COMPLETELY irrelevant.

    I think his opinion is one sided because every time he starts a FTP thing, they start it when a free champ is given away AND a forge pass is also active.

    The reason I think they're getting irrelevant is because of fusions. I don't really farm ANYWHERE unless it's 12-3 for training, because I know during a fusion I'm gonna have to run a ton of dungeons anyways, so unless a 3x speed is on, why waste the resources?

    Even on a 3x, the drops are still bad. I think if the drops were more consistent, people would interact with the events more. 3x is nowhere near enough. For the amount of energy, the drop rates and usable pieces are pretty bad. I will say though, the rates are miles better than Watcher.

    I disagree with Retal being niche, tons of people are using it these days. I see it a ton in arena.

    One thing that sucks about these, campaign gear does not sell for the same amount as everything else. Which is stupid, they need to remove the sell penalty on those and improve them somehow.

    But they won't because all these dummies buy the forge pass the instant it comes out, and they buy up all the gear packs. Why improve dated gear when they're making money from people buying these things?

    Plarium has created all the problems this game has because of greed. They've diluted the champ pool, power creeping the fuck out of everything and they've now done it with gear.

  3. There is still something Dungeons have going for them, they are always available for farming.

    Sure you get better Equip from Doom Tower and/or Cursed City/Forge Pass etc. but those are limited areas with keys and/or time. Dungeons on the other hand can be done any time of day as long as you have the Energy for it.

    They are also the only place where you can farm Mythical Gear (as far as I know at least…feel free to correct me if wrong).

    I think HH isnt really wrong as that Dungeons and other "old" areas of the game have been "power crept" a lot though. I generally agree with him on this one!

  4. Easy win, have actual "events" where just for the next 3 days X dungeon drops doom tower sets or even doom tower crafting mats. Or an even better actual event now that we have duo bosses, pick one of those to be a limited time challenge of the week and farm dragon/bommal for Bolster set mats.

  5. I only do dungeons for daily advanced quests and fusions. Maybe a 3x on speed or savage. But that's it. Mino needs to be removed or reworked because it's so tedious and feels so punishing for making new champs. Which is constantly needed for progression.

I do 2 runs of fireknight every day for the daily quest: get 3 pieces of gear (1 regular and 1 super raids), unles I'm unlicky and I get brew drops instead, then I need to run more than 2. outside of that, I use my energy on leveling up new champs or food or potion keep or Minotaur. I do wish they would just make masteries free, like we got them for every 10 levels of the champion, so at 50 you'd have rank 5 masteries.

  7. i started playing the game 2 years ago and i think it was exactly the time where this transition began. forge was already established and the first bolster forge pass got released, which i bought and i used it in cb instead of lifesteal, because i didnt want to dump thousands of energy into dragon for mediocre results. and that bolster gear wasnt just good for CB, it got me through FW, helped a lot in arena and was just always a top tier set from early game right up to endgame, while lifesteal would have been obsolete after the early game… and thats just one example, i have only two working stun sets, two toxic sets, 2 or 3 regen sets, 3 cursed sets, and 1 or 2 decent reflex sets. i have 0 pieces of lifesteal, no working savage sets, only a few single pieces, the same with speed gear, i got 11 speed pieces total and thats after 2 years of playing the game… the amount of dungeon runs i did according to my raid recap video of 2024 were only 1195 runs in dragon normal and 1024 in hard, 966 runs of fire knight, 948 runs in ice golem normal and 148 in hard and in the spiders den i did 5648 runs on normal and 2422 runs on hard, but that is only higher because i sold almost everything i got there to get silver, my accessory count was always low at around 300-400 pieces. this got a little more now with all the special accessories because i generally dont sell those regardless of the quality, because the effects are more important to me than the stats (for most of the sets).
    on the other hand i got a fuckton of perception gear, several pages of merciless and supersonic, a decent number of lethal and instinct, i have a nice healthy amount of defiant too and a mountain of bolster (i think at one point i had 260 pieces of bolster alone). add cruel, immortal, stone skin and protection to that and thats basically everything i own. i also was early adopting gear ascension, even before dust was added to respec the ascension and some older players just shook their heads and told me gear ascension would be only for the very best pieces and those still would have to be farmed and if the ascension rolled something bad, the piece was ruined for them. i was "wasting" my precious oil on pieces not worthy of ascension in their eyes. but soon i surpassed their stats especially on my nukers because i ascended what i was using anyway and when respeccing became an option, it improved that gear even further. gear ascension allowed me to do things with my champs i could only dream of before.
    TLDR: dungeon farming sucks and those dungeons exist only for getting fusion points allegedly, in my opinion.

  8. I would like to see HH and others make f2p account not being able to use gear from dungeons. Ofc they have their place – how are you going to get gear from CB, Doomtower and Cursed City if you don't already have farmed gear in the dungeons? Removing gear from Forge Pass to hard dungeons would just make not being able to sell the Forge Pass.

  9. After doing the entirety of Wixwell fusion (all events), I kept 23 artifacts to roll up. After rolling up I kept 1 mediocre piece. I did those dungeons solely for the fusion and don't even consider running them outside of fusion.
    You could completely replace Savage with Lethal across all accounts without pissing anyone off. No-one would complain about getting some extra crit rate for free… At the moment you're stuck in this awkward position of having to commit to one or the other as having half your good gear in Lethal and half in Savage means no set bonus, so it's useless. We don't have enough gear storage to have good options in all sets.

  10. Quite literally have gear coming out of my ears; with no silver to even attempt to upgrade things that could be good lol I've never seen a game approach gear in such a piss poor way. Who wants to sort endlessly through utter garbage? Sell 1500 potentially good things items for silver… just to farm all over again? Raid is basically gear/champ crushing with some extra steps, that's the game.

  11. Plarium releases a new hero and promise certain performance charakteristics, which makes me wanting this champion. I spend a lot of money to get this hero with these warranted characteristics. These performance charakteristics are a liability concerning information.

    When they nerf this paid champion, it is not ok, because they tricked me in spending money with misinformation about this hero.

    For example: I pay and spend money to get a Mercedes with 1000 PS.

    Then Plarium come around and say: Oh, this champion is too strong and not as meant to be. You still get the Mercedes, but now ist has only 200 PS.

    But i paid money, because they promoised me 1000 PS.

    I am so angry about this. How do you feel about?

  12. Dungeons have been irrelevant for a long time. Only do those for fusions since you're forced to.
    But then again most of the game is irrelevant. It's just geared to get you to complete Sintranos and compete in arena.
    But Sintranos is over tuned (mainly Soulcross and Amius) and all versions of arena is a pay to win joke.
    At this point the only reason to log on is to eventually complete the champion collection (for me get some of those champs I've been wanting for years).

  13. Yeah, the dungeons are now just a fusion tax, it's pretty embarrassing honestly how little Plarium cares about our time and money, which is surprising since they seem desperate to get both from us.

  14. How about this idea – each dungeon gives you forge materials in three rarities like doom tower. So each dungeon basically is for farming 1 armor type set. Spider would give out accessory cores and they can add tokens to forge rings, amulets or banners similar to the boots, helmets, etc.

    I would rework Iron Twins totally and make it 1 key a day but it gives chances to get all types of soul stones like a clan boss for soul stones. Just make 4 difficulties and make it drop better and more soul stones per difficulty. THen change the boss so that he can't take damage until you drop bombs on him first to crack his armor, then you have to use freeze and hp burn together. He's metal so at least things should make sense.He shouldn't be immune to damage like he basically is. It's just boring

  15. Simple facts….this hasn't been a GAME in years. It's a slot machine. Plarium is not a game company and they constantly blow the gamer expectations. They are a casino with a rake. You and other good CCs have called them out while others just keep people popping shards and dropping dollars. My prediction was and is that one day we will wake up and Raid will be gone. They need to sell it to a company that cares about gaming and players AND make money. I only stay because it's a habit….plus of course content like yours JGIgs!

  16. Things like mino and potion dungeons are there to drain resources and slow progression. They make money selling things to speed up progression. They’re never going to change it.

  17. I agree with HH to a pretty good extent. The gear dungeons have become largely irrelevant past the very early game. Lifesteal is handy for a while but gets phased out as you build out more cohesive teams as you get more/better champs. The only time I run the gear dungeons (both a F2P account and former low spender account right now) is during fusions, and even then I hate doing it when it's not like 3x Reflex/Speed/Regen/Savage/etc. And it's such a shame that the dungeon divers has such a high point requirement because it's basically just a huge resource dump, for a rare champ or 5 fragments. It's kind of gotten ridiculous, especially considering we still don't have higher stages of Mino lol

  18. HH mentioned that in the F2P challenge among the content creators, none of them relied on dungeons for gear. Now, there's no doubt they bring a lot more knowledge and experience to an account than the average newbie. But even so, I think these days, you outgrow the gear offered in the dungeons pretty quickly. And a LOT of the gear drops in the dungeons are utter crap, no matter where your account is.

    I don't think this is unusual. Almost all games make some of their content obsolete as they add new content. It IS fixable, if the developers had an incentive to improve "old" content and keep the game playable in all areas for all players. The question in my mind is: why don't they do it? Not just in RAID, but in all games: there's virtually no focus on "old," existing content; all the focus is on the new, shiny stuff.

    But it's a shame, because that means tons of areas of the game end up being wasted. To answer your question at the end, yes: I only farm dungeons if I'm doing a fusion–and I don't do many fusions, so I'm hardly ever in the dungeons for any reason. You're basically just converting energy to silver at a rather poor rate.
