Raid came along for me at a perfect time. I was spending way, way more on vices, and Raid is way way safer than what I was into. Now I'm to a point where it still feels like my vice, I just don't have to spend to enjoy it

I disagree with your statement that almost have to be a gambler to play this game long term. If you are buying shards, sure. If you are F2P, absolutely not.

what does it say about a mobile game where you can drop 100.000 dollar like some content creator or ingame players did and they still not at the top? some people would think if they drop 3-4k they should be done with the game for forever. this 0,5% droprates and artifacts, energy and soulstones turning into a machinery that can suck up 500k and you still dont have what u want XD this game is downloadable for underage children and its a shame that they get introduced to this as a gaming experience. for example you could also watch a video of asmongold about cs go skins and gambling etc., it gives a good insight. no game shpuld cost hundreds of dollars no game should charge 2-3k for a champion like raid is doing rn for a mythical. to trigger the mercy on the new shard will cost you about 20-40 shards consistently thats 100-200 dollar with the current price, just for the mercy.
i mentioned in many other videos its not discussed enough it shouldnt be turned onto the player its plariums fault. people invested into the game when it was way less predatory and everything they do know is gaining trust of the animal and killing it every time on repeat… giving it a small treat and again. thats why they said they are not going to invest that much into new player but into profit mode. it havent even started yet. anybody who is still spending is out of his mind, whats about to come is going to be nuts. its the main thing that is wrong with the gaming industry and you still get unfinished content/champs/fusions on repeat. just to keep the community talking and something is happening, thats also the reason why bugged champs never are going to be fixed because there is thousands of things like this just to keep the mind occupied.
yes macchan was right saying the game was more fun before soulstones and empowerment. now releasing a new rarity how deep the end point moves away people cant imagine. there might be a time where there are more mythicals in the game than legendaries and all the farming for essence was for nothing because rotos duchess etc are going to be the first who wont be meta anymore and on the next wave it will be the stronger ones who are getting replaced by the myhticals.

It would be interesting if RAID actually included, in all its advertisements, "Play Responsibly". Not saying it'd be effective at preventing people from getting into dark places with their spending, it may or may not, but it would be interesting…almost more congruent with the space this game occupies in the ecosystem.

This is exactly what we talk about in the crypto community. So many get lost spending on a " chase ". Doesn't matter if it's money, a champion, etc. Don't spend what you cannot afford to lose. I played a game called mafia wars back when scripts were just becoming a thing. Players in my clan, had spent over $250,000k on a facebook game.
