She sure likes to mock and demean the poor man.
Heracles: You know maybe Kratos was onto something…
serving Wendy Williams energy
If I remember Hera used to torture Heracles with these trials since he was essentially Zeus bastard son from a affair
Gee. 'Random character doesn't like another character'. Imagine that.
The ORIGINAL “Evil Step Mother” everyone 😅
Olympus deserves Kratos' treatment from Heracles
So I am assuming Heracles is still doing his trials in this game, which means he is yet to steal Hades' dog. It would be funny if he helps us out in the game and we let him borrow Cerberus for his twelfth trial, you come back to the room with Hades in it and he's just in kind of a worse mood cause he hasn't seen his dog in a bit.
Heracles deserves some break, to be honest, it's not like he wished to be born as Zeus' bastard son and Hera sure is being petty for a goddess.
"He is middle of something we call self-discovery?"
And who´s fault is that?
Understatement of the fucking century
The "another mouth for me to feed" comment is funny considering Hera was conned into breastfeeding him as a baby by Athena
“Journey of self-discovery.” My fricking ass. 😑
I mean, why would she like the constant living reminder that her husband cheats on her with every mortal woman in his line of sight?
To be fair, I wouldn't be delighted either if my husband cheated on me and then called the son "glory to you" and went like "so we good now right ? Can you take care of the kid now, while you also take care of the 14 other ones ?"
I wonder if they are going to add any of Heras more sympathetic moments such as granting a an old dying couples wish to be together forever by turning them into immortal tree whose branches are always intertwined. How in Hercules origin story she was all for raising and even breast feeding what she thought was just a abandoned mortal baby until she figured the baby was zeus.
If anything she should be mad at Zeus for cheating behind her back. (And for basically everything else Zeus did) Heracles just did as he was told.
Hera doesn't like Heracles. In other news, the sky is blue.
And there she is, the vindictive, petty, spiteful old hag who we hate. Taking her anger towards those of innocent women and children.
Mom Hera I will stand by your side
A "journey of self discovery"
Yeah, I'm sure you making him murder his family and everything else really qualifies, Hera.
To be fair, she probably doesn't have a good relationship with any of the other step-children she has.
Hera "doesn't like Hercules" is possibly the understatement of a lifetime.
When I don't like someone, I avoid them, what Hera did was of a DEEP, obsessive hatred.
hera's that cruel aunt that devotes her free time to making her least favorite nieces and nephews lives living hell.
She is far milder than the original
The inaccuracy of this game! Haven't they seen the Disney version?! SCOFFS
Hera is very mommy
I think what I love (and hate) about the way Hera speaks about Heracles is the fact she acts like she's just some step-mother who dislikes her step-child. Saying he's "on a journey of self-discovery" and that Melinoe is not to aid him in any way. As if she didn't literally torture this man, force him to kill his wife and children and then tricked him into 10 years of servitude which lead to him being made to complete 12 labours that were COMPLETELY insane but he completed them anyway. Hera is genuinely a psychopath and probably the worst of the Greek gods, second to Zeus. The two of them were made for each other honestly. So the fact Hera speaks like this is accurate to her character because she doesn't believe she did anything wrong.
Also, keep in mind that Heracles' mother did not know she was in bed with Zeus. She believed it was her husband, when it was Zeus disguising himself as her husband. She then named her son Heracles to try and appease Hera but obviously it didn't work and Hera killed her and tortured her son. The poor bastard was born only to suffer.
They are sure having fun writing Hera's lines.
