New episode full final fight scene.
Gaia summons Typhon, the titans awakens, Hades backstab Heron and betrays him. Cliffhanger for season 3, Heron forgives Hera and ask Hades to return in hell.

The look in Hades' eyes throughout this scene is haunting. He knows that Heron has never wronged him and that he just killed an innocent man who just wanted to bring peace and balance. If Gaia hadn't interfered, I'm sure he would have tormented himself for the rest of his life over it.
Hades was just about the only God satisfied with his lot in the myths, he only very rarely sought out anything beyond his domain such as a wife… Turning the Underworld into basically Hell, and him into a villain in any context is an overused and brain dead trope.
And Gaia as some sort of greater good? She is the closest thing the Ancient Greeks had to an overarching villain. While not without her sympathetic reasons not unlike this version of Hades, who plots and aims beyond his lot for the sake of his children, Gaia did the same thing and did it first. When she went to her Titan children overthrow Uranus who had banished his “Ugly Children” the Cyclopes and the Hecatoncheires. Cronus was the only taker and he wielded a sickle given to him by Gaia herself to bring Uranus down, which he did by castrating his father, taking his throne and going back on his promise to free his more fearsome looking siblings from Tartarus.
She then plotted to have her grandchildren, which ended with Zeus overthrowing his father, freeing the Cyclopes and Hecatoncheires, and imprisoning and or other punishing most of the Titans who opposed the Gods during the war… And Gaia took issue with that.
She conspired against Zeus and the Gods twice at least, birthing first the Giants to bring low the Gods and then when they were defeated, she mated with the literal abyss Tartarus and birthed the fiercest and greatest of all Monsters from all others were sired, Typhon.
The Ancient Greeks knew Gaia to fierce, nurturing yet treacherous. Her progeny inherited the best and worst from her… And they have her taking the moral high ground here?
Mother Earth can’t be evil after all, Hades is at best a misunderstood good guy Satan.
I feel for Hades, I really do, but he had to also know that killing Heron was going to accomplish nothing, he lashed out with violence no better than Zeus or Ares and it’s now lead to terrible consequences for the entire world, his wife and children included, I want to see him get a happy ending, but I want to see him fix what he has broken first.
1. If Hades had to be antagonist I'm glad that they did it this way. You legitimately feel for the guy, because you get the sense he doesn't actually want to hurt people. Not really.
Its just that he has easily the gloomiest , but important, job out of all the Olympians which made him really bitter and as tortured as the souls he rules over. And the one person who makes it better, Persephone, isn't even able to be with him for more than half a year because Demeter throws a hissy fit and constantly threatens to throw the world into an eternal winter. You really get the sense the guy was dealt a sh!t hand, while all the other Olympians were allowed to whatever they wanted and could indulge in their famial drama.
2. This is a pretty accurate depicition of Gaia. She is literally mother nature incarnate. She can be beautiful, nurturing and kind but she can also be brutal and destructive if it means maintaining balance
Her summoning/birthing Typhon , the king/father of all monsters, in response to the Olympians being total pieces of sh!t and doing insane damage to the world with their constant bickering is pretty myth accurate. Its quite literally the planet fighting back with a walking natural disaster.
He's essentially to Zeus what Zeus was to Chronos. A being destined to overthrow and end the age of the Olympians. And he's more than powerfull enough to do it too as he straight up beat Zeus in their first round and in their second, Zeus drops a mountain on him to end the fight. He didn't actually kill him , just put him in timeout.
😅 Welp. Olympians were a wrecked up dysfunctional group of overconfident powered beings who just were real jerks. I have to agree with Gia on this one. 🌍
and to think, had Hades simply waited for the chance Gaia offered all the gods to obtain that stone, he might have won it fair and square. wanting his wife and children to not have to say goodbye to each other over and over again is noble and good. but the underhanded way he went about trying to make sure he got the stone shows his flaw
Second season in a row where I felt for the antagonist and lowkey wanted them to win. Hades & Persephone deserved to be able to be together, with their family, in the underworld or outside it.
This season also made me feel even more sorry for Hera… she made Zeus king because she was in love and genuinely confident he was the best person for the job, only for him to turn around and be all "I'm the king, I can bone whoever I want" for centuries… and the poor woman is STILL conflicted.
Hades' problem is that he's super deeply loyal to the woman he loves to the point of being willing to do anything to be with her, while her mother effectively holds her (and the world) hostage.
Hera's problem is that she WAS super deeply loyal to the man she loved and he essentially spat in her face several hundred times until she couldn't take it anymore and snapped.
Lesson of this show seems to be "love is as dangerous as it is wonderful" lol
Ty- who?
Damn, Gia is really pissed. But not just pissed, but disappointed how the gods of Greek being such assholes.
Gaia going full Meredith Stannard.
Bruh basically told everybody to go home 😂😂😂
Well, the OG Godkiller is back

Well she did try to mentor them for the better , and even had a plan to do so. But they pissed her off….
This is one hell of a way to end the series, are main hero is dead , and the reign of the gods has ended.
Those of us who read Ricks books I hope you were sufficiently scared by her calling Typhon cus I know I was🤣
After reading Greek mythology again, it’s really no surprise that Gaia would turn against the Gods
This is all Demeter fault
