As far as I know, Thanatos only shows up after around 20~ runs, so it makes sense that you only just now got him.
I just want to say that if you use the bow's Aspect of Chiron that makes enemies hit by an attack be homed in on by your special, if you go with a boon that gives your special a lot of extra damage (e.g. Artemis), you can actually output a massive amount of damage, it's stupid. To this day, that run is one of my fastest since I was able to dump so much damage on a single enemy with one press of Q
