Most call abilities are not worth using without a full gauge. It takes 4x to charge the gauge, but is usually around 6x as powerful.
Shield with Poseidon is one of the best combos in the game, mainly the attack boon he can give. Knock back + knock back makes it so you can walk splat anyone anywhere. And THEN you get the boon that turns your total knock back into bonus damage and you can melt bosses

Your main problem seems to be your tendency to tunnel visioned into specific playstyle based on what upgrade you have, regardless of if that playstyle suit the situation or not
When you said "how am I suppose to press that many button" it's either that, or learn dodge better so it doesn't matter if the playstyle doesn't suit the situation or not, or the tldr: just git gud
I like bringing the Cthonic coinpurse in the early floors in combination with the money generating passive at the end of every floor. If you dont spend any money this lets you buy some titan blood/diamonds from ya boi Charon on the final floor.
To answer a few errant questions throughout the episode:
Yes, Sisyphus is rather lazy. If I recall correctly he refused to die so much that he locked Thanatos in a chest until Hermes let him out. He's looking for any opportunity to get out of his torment, and Zag provides the easiest distraction for the Furies.
Butterflies are associated with souls within Greek mythology. So the Butterfly Ball is just a bunch of errant souls congregating together.
There actually is a line of game dialogue with Poseidon about why the Olympians aid Theseus. Apparently they'd offer their aid to anyone who is worthy to receive it. Although they're trying to give you an edge, it won't be at the expense of another favored champion.
Your doing great I still find the shield to be very dependent on what you pick up if it's not great it's a slog if it's good it's a cake walk
i think we can tell Mr Streamer is a doogder not a blocker in Elden Ring. the shield was the first weapon i beat hades with so its cool to see how each weapon appeals to certain people.
Hera's aspect with the bow's special is basically a delete button for most minor bosses especially when you have multiple casts and the the correct cast to load into your bow, because it stacks each bloodstone or cast and then adds special damage together with the cast damage to add massive damage to one shot. Though many people prefer the Chiron aspect since the special homes after you marked someone with the attack and if you add something like lightning to the special and attack an enemy each arrow has a change to do the lightning damage which also does a huge chunk of damage.

Chaos shield is… quite bad. It is basically a worse spear. Where the shield really shines is with Athena on attack. The shield has a very large hitbox, so Athena attack very generously reflects everything while you spam attack.
"How am I supposed to press that many buttons simultaneously" This is my issue with the Aspect of Chaos — it's an additional mechanic that you have to think about. While you're worrying about getting in a bull rush before, and only specialing after a rush, you forget to cast, or miss out on a bunch of standard attacks, or are too distracted to dodge an attack. For me, a good build is in many ways about focusing on a small number of things and bringing them up to a high level of power, and certain aspects liked the Chaos shield just don't jive with that. Aspect of Zeus is a lot more fire and forget where you can just throw the spinner down every once and a while without thinking too much.
I haven't played too much of Hades but one of my favorite weapons is the bow in an mostly "auto attack" build. I try to stack a bunch of just plain attack boons. A few runs I was doing upwards of 800 damage with Crits.

I'm the person whose favorite weapon is the shield. I am not okay, no, but the shield makes it better! It's attack is incredible damage and has great aoe, particularly the dash-strike, and it has two SITUATIONAL capabilities in the form of bull rush and special.
Sous vide is the only way to prepare Slavug.
The Sisyphus trinket (shackle), is actually really good for Tartarus, as it boosts your damage before you have boons for your attacks, specials, or casts. It’s also nice as it boosts each one independently: getting a special boon removes the damage bonus for the special, but the unbooned attack still gets the damage boost
Just to compound the Zagreus=Sam meme, at 37:04, they both say Thank you at exactly the same time, with the same speed, and inflection. Tripped me out the first time I heard it lol
I know you dont like the sword, however my favorite combo is the sword aspect that lets me recover my bloodstones when using the special. Combine that with artims boon that cause damage when bloodstones leave a enemy its great damage
The dash-strike is pretty good. It might hit for a little more damage than the normal attack but it also hits in a wider area.
Artemis' mark was activating because although you had low crit chance you were throwing three shields at once. Once you have the mark it will activate itself and keep going
Bow tips: Try to get Doom, Weak, maybe crit/mark on the special so you can tag a bunch of enemies with it at once. You should aim for a boon that ups % damage on your attack but stay flexible, some hammers completely change how the weapon works
Edit: Fuck Ares and all of his boons. Blade rift does fuck all damage and I kill most enemies before Doom can activate. Least favourite god by far
The shield is designed to wall fuck people. Knock back into columns and walls. I know its slightly more complex then spamming Y but I know you can do it.

Mr Streamer, you're really good at the actual dodgy-fighty-stuff, but you're sleeping on a lot of wasted potential.
1: If you have a weapon, like, say, a shield that gets you extra shields to toss, you got to build around that. Say, put the Doom bonus on special instead of attack. That way you can effortlessly infect numerous enemies with one chuck. Things like that. Get a beneficial hammer to multiply it even more. Stacking bonuses on top of bonuses is the key.
2: You're snoozing on an enormous, easy to get power spike. You're now advanced enough to start minding one more thing: The MASSIVE (up to 50%) damage bonus you get from Privileged Status. Getting two status effects on a single enemy isn't hard most of the time, and having ALL damage getting boosted by 50% goes a long way.
Heroic rarity only happens when an epic boon gets upgraded, never "naturally"
The shield IMO is only good with Aspect of Zeus. Normally when thrown it disables your attack/bullrush leaving you open for damage if youre trying to go fast or using Apect of Chaos. With Zeus's Blitz disk however you can set and forget it and focus of living while it does damage. Is really good with a lightbing build.
Don't forget to give the contractor and Orpheus and/or Thanatos ambrosia while you're in the house. I personally recommend Thanatos first
