Time for me to be ashamed of myself cause I'm absolutely aiming for this to get Heat 32 done lol.
So I've done a run with every god on Rama's special, and there were a few interesting ones:
Zeus – obviously the best, where double strike, static discharge, and splitting bolt will melt all enemies
Poseidon – not particularly good, since the special doesn't do much knockback, and mostly only works for razor shoals and as a Zeus build with extra steps in Sea Storm
Athena – not particularly good, though I managed to get 30% special speed and Deadly Reversal, which worked pretty well
Aphrodite – not great, since high percentages are wasted on the special's miniscule damage. Unhealthy Fixation sort of made things interesting, but not really
Ares – decent, since doom is more easily enhanced to do good damage, probably comparable to my Athena run
Artemis – a little better than Aphrodite, but the Athena build with Deadly Reversal gets more damage on top of better crit chance for more damage output, so…
Dionysus – probably the second best special to use, from pomming Drunken Flourish to duos like Curse of Nausea. Still requires more boons to even approach Zeus's level
Demeter – mediocre, takes a lot of effort and luck to make it decent
If you want to have fun, Zeus and Dionysus are the way to go, with Athena being a surprise pick if you want to try your luck.
hi haelian, any thoughts on zeus attack on fists? i love that build thanks to your 32 heat guide vid. but does the limitation on zeus bolts apply to zeus lightning?

Re: discussion of legendary having a CD, the bolt cooldown influences the legendary proc – so while the legendary probably does not have a cooldown, it can't proc more often than lightning bolts which DO have a cooldown.

What if double strike is better because it has a chance to work whenever you meet the requirements to spawn a lightning strike, even if its on cooldown? So every special hit has a chance to create the doubke strike bolt, while only 1 special hit every x amount of time creates one.
From looking frame by frame, it seems like double strike works as other people have said: The chance of getting a second strike does not care about the internal cooldown timer. So each of the 7 special hits has a chance to spawn a second lightning, despite only one of them being able to summon the first lightning.

So apparently I have been playing hades wrong because all of my playthroughs I build around one button lol… I did manage to complete 20 heat on all weapons this way.

The most useful part of the tutorial was knowing it's not just me that uses Meg with Damage Control on
I noticed that you have fiery presence even though you have have damage control. Does damage control not cancel out the bonus of fiery presence?
It's a pretty good build, I decided to try it at 50 heat (took a few tries but eventually got it).

this was my second 32 heat attempt and yes it was my first win lmao this is truly a grimy build
This isn’t even at its max power I did somehow get lucky enough to get rod and special speed AND jolted
As a Switch player, this is the kind of build I will never attempt for fear of melting my Switch.
This build is how I got my first, and only, 32 heat.

I didn't know that about hangover damage. I sometimes take druken dash for easy p status, and the call is pretty good, so I don't turn it down when I see it. Now I'll have to be more careful.
