If Hades Was in God Games

Scrapped Music for when Hades was supposed to be in God Games in Epic The Musical. I made lyrics for it, but the music is composed by Jorge Rivera Herrans. Check out Epic The Musical!

  1. I love that Hades’s musical style sounds like a crowd of mourners. Really fits him well. And I like that Hades says “release him” without convincing since Ody’s gonna die one day regardless.

  2. This is so different from the CF Entertainment version but it's SO GOOD and shows a completely different side of Hades. I love that no matter how he's portrayed, all the versions of him just don't even bother dealing with Zeus' stupid games.

  3. Would it be okay if I did a little cover of your version? I have an idea for a rewrite of the beginning portion to make the lyrics smoother, and of course I'll share those with you, but I love this.

  4. Oh! I love this take. The "I know we'll see him some day" somehow makes me think of Hades waiting for Persephone for half of the year too. He has all the time to wait, I'm sure he understands that longing Odysseus has in all those years too. 🥹

(and the background chorus reminds me of a certain other musical I love with him too) 🥰 thank you for this!

  5. This is so nice! OwO
I really like how you wrote his lines, it feels like a "i don't care that much, sooner or later he will be here anyway, but, i can take sympathy for a man such as him"
and i love it, it fits him a lot, even more due to the themes that EPIC decides to focus on, that being of a loyal men desperate to see his wife again
Something with Hades can relate to, due to his story with Persephone in almost every iteration of their story.
