    Like ignoring the actual marketing and money they make from it, it's music and art and really gets people excited and is something to enjoy and love. Even though it's from a video game company it really brings people together and music is such a universal thing.

  12. there is an ongoing racism problem in this new kda song in which koreans are complaining that it contained a chinese popstar and chinese lyrics, they are sending some racist remarks about it as they said that it's not k-pop bot c-pop.

  16. This is not the old K/DA. It seems like it has become a C-POP, not a K-POP. The new seraphine occupies the center of Ari and appears the most in the MV. Also, I sing songs while mixing Chinese in the lyrics, which is not right. In fact, foreigners in the Korean K-POP group memorize Korean or speak English. And Seraphine's face is also common as it appears in Japanese anime, and it seems that there is no sense of discomfort in any game. The release of seraphine, the fact that seraphine is Chinese, is just a breaking story of China's acquisition of Riot. I was very disappointed. This song is not the old KDA………….

  22. I just write this comment because many people don't just understand why koreans are so mad at seraphine using chinese at the MV. I'm not trying to talk about the quality of the song cause I really feel this is a great song. Also, I don't agree with the criticism but I think they have an reason for it. Firstly, koreans are not mad because seraphine simply used chinese. 'Take over' had actually also used chinese and no one feels bad about that. (Because this is a quite complex story this comment would be very very long. I hope you really read this) Without the problem with seraphine using chinese, seraphine is criticized with its background. A lol champ is usually gone public by starting with its illustrate, skill information or the story on the lol universe. After that they go public on the test serve and then goes public on the main server with several patches. However seraphine was totally different. Users found out a account of seraphine on instagram or reddit that is estimated as an new lol champ. And this is an very unique way and the first attempt for riot. When the informations were opened users had criticized with seraphine's ironic and poor background story on the lol universe. ( seraphin is belonging to the 'filt over' which uses cutting edge technologies which gives rough image. However seraphine just looks like an singer. Also, its story is ironic. seraphine started singing after hearing the brenan species which were almost in extinct because people from filt over tried to use their crystal which has an big power. After hearing the voices of the brenan species, seraphine sings for ppl from filt over. Which doesn't make sense )And also seraphine's skill information was open, well it was an absolute upgrade version of 'sona' which is an another lol champ. seraphine was also published faster on the mobile version of lol than other regular champs. Lastly, riot gived seraphine an special type of skin(I forgotten the name) that only 5 other champs usually had. By this we could know that riot had pushed seraphine plainly. Untill this part there is nothing wrong with riot. Seraphine was just an new champ that riot was plainly pushing for. And then the "move" video had came out. Because lol is an loved game and it desreves that as an high quality game, koreans were unable to understand why riot put this poor champ on the kda so suddenly. With the several problems that seraphine has and the backgrounds that makes seraphine odd to the lol universe, koreans thought that seraphine was FIRST DESIGNED TO WORK WITH KDA AND THEN WAS ADDED AS AN CHAMP ON LOL UNIVERSE. After this you could realize that riot had First, designed seraphine using chinese in kda which is an k-pop group. Second, published on the game with some pushes. Koreans could understand using another language but there is absolutely no reason to just add chinese so suddenly. The truth is, many people actually can't realize that seraphine was using chinese if they are not korean or chinese. And because many people can't realize the difference between these two, koreans are worried that riot is actually spoiling the image of an K-POP group internationally. You might think this is an too much overaction and actually it is. I think. However, the reason I said this complex is now comming. riot's most biggest stockholder is in china. The original members who contributed to designing the group kda had left riot. And, politically koreans were attacked by china several times in the cultural, traditional area. For example, the korean war is remmembered as the worst war ever for koreans which started by the NORTH korea invading south korea. And then UN supported south korea while china and the soviet union supported north korea. So, (south)koreans are always thinking thankful for the veterans who helped them. However, china has been and is arguing that they had actually protected korea which makes koreans mad. They also blamed BTS for holding an event to say thank you for the veterans. Not only this, china had argued that traditionally, korea is an subject state of china which is absolutely wrong. And china had done much more things trying to spoil korea's unique cultural, traditional points including pop culture by saying they are the original one. I'm not saying that koreans did always well, they also did something really rude things the china, but for many reasons, the relationship between these too are unable to say good. Considering all of this points, koreans eventually felt mad for riot inserting chinese in the kda (and being a center even for a second because the center in k-pop means it represents the group) and thought this was an start for china to invade the k-pop culture internationally as they did in the past. This is an total overaction but they have a reason I think. Most koreans are blaiming for these reason but I think they didn't expressed in the proper way and it is definetly true that some koreans just hate this because of chinese which is an serious racism.
