Please forgive the extended talk at the beginning about irony and literary terms, I will leave a link in the comments if you want to skip straight to gameplay. But as far as gameplay goes, there’s a LOT that happened in this! “This is going to be a short run” indeed XD and then we go all the way up to the surface and fight Hades (and IMHO I did pretty well for a first Hades fight, too?)… I was very, very relieved to not have to fight Cerberus after all, even if his level is a big pain in the butt. But knowing it’s smaller than the other floors makes me worry less about having to do it over again. And apparently it turns out I’m not terrible with the bazooka, at least not with the right boons!

Lauren, developing a way to beat games despite having difficulty with remembering how to use more than a couple buttons in combat is just another way to be good at games.
Impressive work, Lauren! Before you know it, you'll be having bad dad on the ropes in no time! And maybe you'll grow to like Ares and Aphrod- no, I can't finish that sentence with a straight face.
Also, those skulls he throws? Those are HIS blobs. You get hurt more by his attacks when you are poisoned by them, much like your blobs do to other enemies.
On Supergiant iterating on each game, I feel like their first try at developing a large cast of characters was in Pyre. That game as such great characters and I can see their influence in Hades.
