I can’t believe I … didn’t lose a life at the end there? How did that happen? I guess it’s the combination of getting lucky with boons, maybe Poseidon is a good fit for how I play, and certainly the sword is a good weapon for me at this point (though I remember thinking I was especially terrible with it when I was first learning the game so I don’t even know). I’m sure God Mode is doing a lot of work too but EVEN SO. That was fun. This was a fun run. And we’re getting pretty close to unlocking more friendship requests! Ahhhhhhhh! What an amazing run! Congrats on the clear streak! And the cat cam is adorable.
I don't know what it is about Zagreus nicknaming the Bone Hydra, but for me as soon as he started calling the thing Lernie it was like it turned instantly from an obnoxious obstacle into a cantankerous friend. I'm sure there's some sort of psychological something going on there, but I almost look forward to seeing Lernie on runs now. Still can't tell which head is which until one of them starts spitting fire at me, though.
In addition to the other good boons you had, the extra two dodges gave you enough mobility to safely get in extra hits, especially on Hades. You took good advantage of that. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on Hades and Persephone and the new perspective this last conversation adds.
